Ridge Racer 7 (2006)
I know Ridge Racer 7 was released here in the States in 2006, and the R8 was released the next year.

Gran Turismo 3 which launched in 2001 had the Nissan 350Z concept, and the 350Z wasn't released until 2003.

I really have to hand it to the Gran Turismo series. They indeed have the oddest car lineup of any racing game.

Ford Indigo

Project Gotham Racing 3 (2005)
This car was SO underrated in this game. It was awfully slow for something with a six liter V12, and it handled like crap.

That is impossible because the R8 is a 2007 model and this game was launched ten years earlier. It's a Ferrari 360 Modena

Thats just what I think it looks like. It probably wasn't based on a real car anyway.
