2009-08-14 18:51 | Skid a écrit The ENTIRE SHAPE OF THE CAR is 1971-1972 Plymouth B-body. It even has the "strobe" stripe and 1972-spec "340" hood callouts. The ONLY THINGS THAT ARE CHANGED are the grille/headlight combination and the taillights. Both are parts of the car that game designers CHANGE to make the cars appear GENERIC. I don't know this game, and I'm sure what you have stated here is true. But what puzzles me is why they have changed the very characteristic and absolutely gorgeous front of the Roadrunner. I think it's fascinating how game developers re-style cars in games, but I see no point in integrating features from other car models.

2009-08-11 20:30 | I'm wondering how many of you have actually played this game and seen the car from multiple angles, instead of just looking at this one picture. The ENTIRE SHAPE OF THE CAR is 1971-1972 Plymouth B-body. It even has the "strobe" stripe and 1972-spec "340" hood callouts. The ONLY THINGS THAT ARE CHANGED are the grille/headlight combination and the taillights. Both are parts of the car that game designers CHANGE to make the cars appear GENERIC. To say that the car looks an AMC Javelin just because the grille and headlights are similar is absurd, as it overlooks every other part of the vehicle. You guys really have to start paying attention to the overall shape, as opposed to just fixating on one aspect of the vehicle. www.moparrebellion.com/images/PCrider72RR.jpg <-- Case closed. -- Last edit: 2009-08-11 20:32:15

2009-08-06 04:50 | 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T with some Camaro thrown in. If you look at the cover of the game's box, there is a red muscle car that is identical to a Challenger. Though the car featured on the box never made it into the game, this did. It is clearly a Challenger. Still cool-lookin', though.

2009-06-15 05:42 | I'll agree with you on this one It does look more like a Javelin, the fender arches and body lines are more like the AMC. I think it does have a few RR or '70 Challenger influence on it though, such as the grille.

2009-02-10 04:11 | I can confirm that there are articulated trucks in this game, they are found somewhere in central New Jersey in the industiral area to the west. In 1978 you can find a tanker truck, a flatbed truck and a tanker trailer without a cab (several tanker trucks feature prominently in the mission 'Kidnap'), in 2006 there are only 2 tanker trucks there. -- Last edit: 2009-02-10 04:11:53 |
