The one on the left in the picture you posted is the rear of a SIII Jaguar, they had reverse lights built into the light units, the SI & SII XJ`s had them seperately mounted above the number plate.

The car on the right of the picture looks like an Austin Princess with Austin Allegro/Dolomite headlights, a Triumph Acclaim bumper & a Jaguar XJ40 grille!?!

However, neither this one, nor the other one are XJ40`s, that was the very squared off one built between 86 & 94 that I currently own 3 of!

I`ve owned loads of XJ6`s, this resembles an SI to me, although the graphics are pretty poor.

Google "Jaguar XJ6 SI & SII" & see what you think.

The car in the left of the picture i posted a link of is the same as the one on the right of that picture and the one on this page. It has the roofline of the old Series 1,2 or 3 XJs and the rear of the later BL XJ which is strange :/

Thats not an XJ40, I own 3 of them!

Thats an XJ6 or 12 SI

The rear end pic CrazyCars put the link up for is a SIII XJ6 or 12

front bumper and 2 piece grille is more cutlass supreme than a grand prix's one piece grille and grille inserts that would be in the bumper of a car that is based off of the same platform
