Fisico9798 photo_librarymode_comment 2020-05-20 23:48 | I don't think the ps1 version of this car needed a separated page cause it looks almost the same like in the later PC-Port. But as bonus, I thought i add two pics of this car from the original PlayStation 1 version here:
Fisico9798 photo_librarymode_comment 2020-05-20 23:41 | Here as bonus the secret Mercury Monarch from San Francisco in the PS1 version: There are three unused cars on the PlayStation 1 version. The beige-brown colored Mercury Monarch is one of them. I have no idea why Reflections didn't included this car in one of the San Francisco Missions on PS1 version. The only way to drive this car is via Cheat device, Gameshark or X-Ploder Codes It's a shame, cause the car is complete finished, like the other unused (secret) cars also.
Fisico9798 photo_librarymode_comment 2020-05-20 23:38 | Here as bonus the secret Chevrolet Camaro from Los Angeles in PS1 version: There are three unused cars on the PlayStation 1 version. The gold-brown Chevrolet Camaro is one of them. I have no idea why Reflections didn't included this car in one of the Los Angeles Missions on PS1 version. The only way to drive this car is via Cheat device, Gameshark or X-Ploder Codes It's a shame, cause the car is complete finished.
Fisico9798 photo_librarymode_comment 2020-05-20 23:23 | Here as bonus the secret Chevrolet Chevelle from Los Angeles in PS1 version: There are three unused cars on the PlayStation 1 version. The green Chevrolet Chevelle is one of them. I have no idea why Reflections didn't included this car in one of the Los Angeles Missions on PS1 version. On the PC version it was possible to switch the cars, in some of the SF and L.A Missions in a garage sequence. This is not possible in the ps1 version. Also, unlike in the later PC-Port of Driver, after beating the Undercover mode you don't unlock all cars like it was in the PC counterpart. The only way to drive this car in the PlayStation 1 version is via Cheat device or X-Ploder codes It's just a shame, especially because these unused cars are completely finished. I think Reflections should made it possible to unlock them on PS1 version after beating Undercover mode.

2020-05-20 22:18 | It was featured in the final mission (and oh god, that was so, so, so unbearable ). You are escorting the President out of harm's way and literally every single cop in New York wants to pummel your sedan to the ground. Your felony starts at maximum, there's so much traffic and worst of all, it's snowing, making handling the sluggish sedan twice as worse. And if I remember correctly, you're also on a timer.

2020-05-20 22:15 | I remember this. The only appearance outside of Take a Ride was a Miami, Florida mission where you take the Superfly car to a lockup at nightfall. The mission was practically difficult because you have a significant amount of felony (which means the cops will take free hits on you, and it's worse because the car provided can turn over easily) and you're on a timer. Fact: This is the only Undercover car that's faster than the ones you are provided throughout the whole story.
Fisico9798 photo_librarymode_comment 2020-05-20 22:13 | I agree. I also thought the PlayStation 1 version looks more like a Chevelle. Especially from the back and the sides of the car. But the front grille and lights looks like from a Buick Skylark.

2020-05-20 21:53 | There was also one mission in San Francisco where you scare a passenger by driving like a maniac. I would never once be involved in an situation like this with a taxi or today's Uber and Lyft.

2020-05-20 21:49 | The ONLY time you ever drive this in Undercover is in a mission in San Francisco, where you have to safely transport a box filled with explosives. If you drive too fast, too crazy or just simply rolling out, you fail, spectacularly, because the box goes KABOOM! Amusingly, that said, the bomb also got a splash radius - the resulting explosion can knock back traffic. And I remember this, but man was this mission crazy. Too bad there was only one of its kind, just like the taxi mission. -- Last edit: 2020-05-20 21:50:39
Silnev photo_librarymode_comment 2020-05-20 21:43 | I'm not sure what this is but it is not a 1964 Pontiac Bonneville: The only similarity to a Pontiac is the stacked headlights. Heck the rear bumper is from a 72 Torino.

Silnev photo_librarymode_comment 2020-05-20 20:58 | This looks much more like a Chevelle than a Skylark. I know the pc version is a Skylark but this is clearly a different model with different influence.

Fisico9798 photo_librarymode_comment 2020-05-20 19:31 | This is the legendary (and in my opinion much better looking) Buick Skylark from the original PlayStation version of Driver. The car has a different rear (which is from 1973 Chevrolet Chevelle) to his later PC port counterpart: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=298
Fisico9798 photo_librarymode_comment 2020-05-20 19:22 | with many cars in Driver this car is unique in his appearance in the PS1 version. Unlike in the PC version, in the original PlayStation version the Pickup has only two doors and one cabine, instead of two cabines. And the color of the pick-up is a roasty dark-blue grey. Here is the PC counterpart of this car: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=329 -- Last edit: 2020-05-24 19:24:58
Fisico9798 photo_librarymode_comment 2020-05-20 18:55 | This version of the Jaguar is exclusive to the PlayStation 1 version. It can be seen in the Credits sequence after Undercover mode is completed. Unfortunately, this car nor Newcastle are driveable in the PS1 version without a Cheat device, or X-Ploder codes. In the PC counterpart you can unlock Newcastle and the Jaguar. You have to complete Undercover mode. Here the PC version of the Newcastle car: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=301

There are infractions for getting banned: -The excessively swearing part as you mentioned, as well as insults. -Attacking another user -Trolling -Flaming -Being offtopic Just to name a few. I am not willing to respond to trolls as such. And I apologize for the OT.
EEVEE(POKEMON) photo_librarymode_comment 2020-01-30 23:06 | Well, there’s a catch towards the “ban” option. He is still staying on the topic of cars on the web. Some people just talk about rating a game on the web, excessively swearing is also another infraction for getting banned.
