Silnev photo_librarymode_comment 2022-11-15 23:44 | generalrusty78 wrote No it's a Monza, it's a 78 The body shape is all wrong for a Monza. Only the nose of the car resembles a Monza. The rest it does not. When I said "like a Chrysler coupe" I didn't mean that was the specific car I think it was, I mean more of that general body shape. It's far more of a boxy 80s coupe than that 70s shape the Monza has: -- Last edit: 2022-11-15 23:53:29

generalrusty78 photo_librarymode_comment 2022-11-14 09:48 | Thank you Silnev for updating all of the photos, so I can finally say this looks nothing like a Monte Carlo, personally I think it's more likely a Grand Prix, which even then I think is a bit of a stretch, I only think that because of the front end kinda being similar (Assuming the angry look comes from how the headlights are lower than the grill) the taillights are kinda similar (At least more similar than the Monte Carlo's) and that slight coke body is pretty Grand Prix when compared to the Brick to the Face subtle lines of the Monte Carlo

generalrusty78 photo_librarymode_comment 2022-05-15 04:51 | DihydrogenMonoxide wrote AHAHAHA best handling? good one, it claims to be the best handling, but it is made to drive in a straight line, if you try the Ford Maverick 'Hurricane' you will see the real best handling car. the rocket requires you to slow down a TON to avoid hitting the wall, the Hurricane is like a drift car in terms of handling, so you can speed into a turn, and if your going too fast, you can keep holding the gas, and just drift out a bit of your speed, and it usually doesn't even need to do that and still hugs the inside wall. honestly you could cut the break lines in the Hurricane and set a brick on the pedal, and you could still win any race easily. 2022-05-05 02:23 | RKDxNT3000 wrote Could you consider this a prequel to NASCAR Dirt to Daytona? I bring it up because some of the tracks in Dirt to Daytona are featured in this game, and Driven to Destruction/Eve of Destruction is supposed to be more of a grassroots racing game. And dirt racing is the entry level racing you do in Dirt to Daytona. Dirt to Daytona was also Monster Games (who's still making stock car games), so they could very well have re-used some assets for this game 2 years later. -- Last edit: 2022-05-05 02:27:07 |
