The Range Rover never came in an extnended body, the Expedition did, the Front grill bears similarities to a shrunken Current-Gen. Expedition, the rear may not look much like it but it has more similarities to an Expedition EL. |

2012-03-19 14:38 | @Mieguy I'll be honest, I wasn't speaking solely to you in thatr comment, I was actually reading some of the comments before J-2's comment with the screenshots, and then noticed your comments afterwards arguing that it still may be based on a Range Rover. However, you seem to be basing this solely on the lights and grille, which as J-2 said, isn't important if the rest of the car is based on something else. If you look at some other cars from GTA IV, the Cognoscenti is a perfect example - it has elements from a Bentely (front end) and a Maybach (rest of the car), however, the Maybach influence overshadows the Bentley. The Sultan is another perfect example - elements of a Subaru and a Lexus, though the Subaru influence is less obvious in that case. Also I'm not stupid, I know you're only pointing out the valid similarities between aspects of the Landstalker and the Range Rover as justification as to why it may be based on a Range Rover rather than an Expedition, not claiming it isn't a Landstalker (I never said you were denying it was a Landstalker, was just stating the obvious for anyone else who read it). So sorry if my comment got to you the wrong way, it wasn't aimed solely at you. Like I said though, this is another case where the car has elements of two vehicles, the Ford and the RR. The Ford influence is more prominent. |

It is 100 % the GTA IV Landstalker. I now stop this debate, because this is ridicolous. You dont want to have 3 Range Rover-based cars on one game, i understand that. But please, STOP repeating "this is the same like in GTA IV". It pisses me off. The name also is irrelevant. The Landstalker name existed back in 2001, and back then, the car was a Jeep, not a Ford. And finally, we have 3 different cars, this, which is a Ford Expedition, the Huntley Sport, which is a Range Rover Sport, and the presumably going to be called Huntley in GTA V, which is a Range Rover. |

And you see, Land Rover sounds similar to Land Stalker! and to add, maybe you missunderstood me. I know, that the GTA V Landstalker is the same as the GTA IV Landstalker. But i mean, the GTA IV Landstalker is also a Range Rover and NOT an Expedition they obviously even used a photo of a Range Rover rear light for the GTA IV rear light. 2012-03-07 10:52 | I just noticed an interesting thing. Look at the rear lights. The Expedition has square rear lights, the RR sport not. The Landstalker also hasnt the same. I made this picture to explain what i mean. I am talking about the green line. For me its clearly not an Expedition. The view of the landstalker rear lights is not accurate, it looks square in my comparison. So its better to compare it with the main picture. You will see what i mean. also look at the field for the number plate, or the chrome on the trunk door. Also, the RR Sport was the Huntley Sport. In V it may have been dropped, since now there's a full sized Range Rover, but since this is the same as the one in IV, it's an Expedition. |

Just open your eyes and look at the picture. The licence plate fitting matches, the tail lights match and the rear bumper matches perfectly with the Range Rover Sport. |
