2020-06-17 11:40 | Antti-san a écrit Where's the surname from? In the definitive edition's of Mafia 2 and Mafia 3, you get this car if you bought the trilogy pack. In Mafia 2 and 3 it's called the 'Shubert Six Cab'. So it will probably be the same in this game.

2020-06-16 22:03 | This is the Ulver/Culver Airstream. In the original 2002 game it came in both two-door and four-door versions, as well as only two colors (green and yellow).

2020-06-15 23:17 | It probably is the Shubert Extra Six,the hood ornament looks exactly the same as in the original. In the original game it was a 1935 Chevrolet Master.

2020-06-15 04:35 | Looks to be the Model B Coupe specifically. It has an arched trunk and looks to have only the front seats, unlike the Tudor version of the Model B, which has rear seats as well as a completely flat, vertical rear.

2020-06-15 04:28 | The Lassiters are the ones I'm most excited for. Already this screenshot is a great sign, because in the original the Fordor version of this car came only in green and silver. The red and white paint job on this Lassie is so fresh to the eyes.

2020-06-01 13:28 | Smith is the Ford brand in the game and perhaps the other car brands that belonged to the Ford group at that time are also named under the Smith brand. Ford created Mercury in 1939 to sell cars at a higher price and also bought Lincoln in 1922, to compete with brands like Cadillac and Packard for the luxury segment of the automotive market, so perhaps and probably should be a Lincoln, which were from brands that used famous gangsters like Al Capone. -- Last edit: 2020-06-01 13:30:16

![]() Mafia: Definitive Edition (2020) | twilight sparkplug 2020-05-22 11:44 | Well the best thing they could do is restore Mafia II and bring back all the cut missions, cut content, etc that was scraped to make the game come out quicker.. But hey I have 0 confidence that will happen. I just hope they don't mess it up. In all honesty I'll only be getting this for the remade Mafia 1. Already own all 3 original games. And Mafia III is the fist one I never even bothered to finish. was not even a mafia game. But yep. Only time will tell. |

2020-05-22 04:37 | I'll definitely get my hopes up but I'm not very confident about it, because the Mafia series soured considerably after II when Hangar 13 went wrong somewhere during the development of Mafia III. I hope the story will be intact and hopefully, both free-ride and the story bind together. I am also hoping it would also be optimized and not crashing all the time, because those are the bane of a game's quality. -- Last edit: 2020-05-22 04:38:22 |

![]() Mafia: Definitive Edition (2020) | twilight sparkplug 2020-05-22 01:29 | Well lets hope so. Maybe if we are lucky it just means more cars. The delivery trucks I see in some screenshots are new. and hey. the first car we got after the taxi missions was the model t so it would not feel right without it. But lets hope the taxi is just.. Another taxi variant :P Guess it depends how different the game is. |

2020-05-21 22:44 | TunaMouth a écrit So, if the bonuses in Mafia II and III are anything to go by, the taxi is now a Shubert Six, the limo is called "Smith V12" (even though Smith is a brand from II that's supposed to be Ford, while Ford in I is Bolt), cars don't have suicide doors anymore, etc. Looks like they're repeating the completely random vehicle branding from III. I have a bad feeling about this.... Tommy's cab don't look like a Studebaker anymore and is called Shubert Six in Mafia II and III Definite Edition. I also got a bad feeling when saw that. I kinda liked the painfully slow regular cars in the first game, like te Bolt Ace. This and frustrating things like the taxi mission added to the realistic setting. In the second game also had details like these, but in the third it took a more arcade route, hopefully the driving mechanics was good. Red Dead Redemption 2 showed that modern games can have realistic details like the first Mafia, I hope the Definitive Edition keep those things that make the game unique |

2020-05-21 17:51 | twilight sparkplug a écrit The limo being branded a smith could that just be a Lincoln? Kinda reminds me of a Lincoln. different to the Cadillacs we get ingame. and ya know.. Ford Lincoln. Wonder if this means all bolt cars will be rebranded smith? I think you're giving it more thought that the devs. I believe that they're gonna repeat the car lore of Mafia 3 where the brands are completely meaningless and random. If they used Mafia II brands like that and it was a Lincoln, it'd be branded Jefferson (all cars in II had 1:1 relation, even singular examples). -- Last edit: 2020-05-21 17:52:25 |

twilight sparkplug 2020-05-19 01:47 | hmm wait a second. Now that I look the grill shape and side vents are very close in design to the Schubert Six in the first game alatriste2003 pointed to. I just did not really think about it and assumed it would be the same model as the previous game. Maybe there are multiple taxis? In that case I would say its most likely a Chevrolet Special?
