I honestly don't see why people are so critical of the tuner aspect. I get the overuse of ricer nonsense, but at the same time recapturing the Hot Pursuit essence hasn't worked that well. Rivals was complete shit, imho. Plus, if NFS ditched the story aspect, it'll probably be just as uninteresting and dull as The Crew 2 or Gran Turismo Sport. Not saying they are bad games per se, but honestly never appealed to me. |

If the controls weren't so stiff and the multiplayer offered up some split-screen or bot matches, it probably might have been pretty fun to mess around with. And the inclusion of a Supra and Eclipse by way of a Season Pass really rubs salt in the wound. I honestly didn't want to hate this game. But I guess I'm a bit too naive to expect any better. |
