2022-10-14 19:23 | Did some research and this model didn't exist until the 70s. It's best if it was listed as a F8 in its place. With those lights they're from 1972. And if you're wondering why it's boxy-looking compared to IRL MAN F8s, it is most likely a handmade asset from Urban Games, hence why it looks duct-taped and cobbled together. -- Last edit: 2022-10-14 19:32:57

2022-10-13 01:52 | I don't know anything about these types of locomotives (Especially those of Euro origin), so you'll have to forgive me about it. So anyway this particular electric loco is often called 'Crocodile' or 'Krokodil' due to its design and green color. It was used for cargo rail routes throughout Switzerland. About the names: Most of them do, but they don't credit the manufacturer who makes these trains. -- Last edit: 2022-10-13 03:26:25

2020-12-24 00:01 | For something that resembles the Fourgonnette, and spawns in 1961 in all regions in the game, this model is not accurate. It just so happens that UG has modeled on what appears to be a '78 Renault 4 F4 - complete with the grille and other detailing.

2020-12-23 23:55 | As far as what I've read about the VW Typ 2, it comes in many names, but I believe the official names were Transporter (cargo versions), Kombi (primarily accepted as a proper name for its passenger version), and Microbus (I think it is its later name) This model in question appears to be a early-to-mid 1950s model, judging by the early design this Urban Games model has - barndoors, the two-tone styled paintjob, small front turn signals, etc.

2020-10-23 02:39 | I want to say it's either a Caterpillar or Liebherr earth mover, because of the era and mission it appears in (from 1998 to 2018, Chapter 17). Distinctive yellow paintjob would point to Caterpillar. About this chapter and its context: Alberta, a sleepy province located in Canada, has a unique resource like no other: Oil sands, made from bitumen, a semi-solid rock-like oil. Right in the middle of northeastern Alberta is the Athabasca oil sands, found roughly in and around the booming town of Fort McMurray. The Athabasca deposit is the largest known oil sand reservoir in the world, dating all the way back to 1719. And yes, I'm quite the historian, and we learn something new we don't know about. -- Last edit: 2020-10-23 02:52:07 |
