2016-10-21 03:38 | The difference in origin of Ford models used to be a lot clearer, but ever since the Focus was released, Ford started to make more and more global cars. Nowadays, the F-Series, Mustang, Taurus, Flex, Explorer and Expedition are the only US origin models, whereas the German market only models are German origin. Cars like the Fiesta, Focus and Edge were developed in both countries and are therefore hard to classify. Besides that, there are also models like the new Ka in Europe that is Brazilian origin to make our lives even harder.
carcrasher88
2016-10-21 03:34 | Actually, a large portion of US market Fords are built here. Focus: Wayne, Michigan Fusion: Flat Rock, Michigan Taurus: Chicago, Illinois Mustang: Flat Rock, Michigan Escape: Louisville, Kentucky Explorer: Chicago, Illinois Expedition: Louisville, Kentucky F-150: Kansas City, Missouri/Dearborn, Michigan F-Series Super Duty: Louisville, Kentucky/Avon Lake, Ohio F-Series Medium Duty: Avon Lake, Ohio Transit: Claycomo, Missouri C-Max Hybrid/Energi: Wayne, Michigan That leaves only the Fiesta, Edge, Flex, and Transit Connect being built outside of the US.

2016-10-21 03:22 | In reality I think the only Fords that are actually US made are the F-150 and Mustang. ![]()

Noko Tau 2016-05-30 15:19 | NS3730 wrote It should be a coupe, not racecar That's why I left it alone. I'll leave it to others to write whatever they want to. But yeah, I can't use this in the beginner or expert seasonals because it's not a racing car. That's partly why my input's been so slow recently, the seasonals are rather restricting.
Noko Tau 2016-05-20 01:39 | CA_NES wrote I want to own one of these someday, but a car has to be 25 years or older to be imported in to the US if it isn't on the list of approved cars or meet the qualifications, which this does not. =\ 25 years? Really? So next year you can import say a Citroën AX GTi?
Noko Tau 2016-05-19 01:07 | Good pictures. I'm covering the same cars in GT6. Ever tempted to just have the one long shot and pretend it's 4 different cars?
Noko Tau 2016-04-28 11:33 | sajmon14 wrote shouldn't it be more black? Could be a trick of the light. I'm doing one for GT6 and the same thing's happening. I think the ambient light blue/ grey skies are reflecting that grey colour on the black. Now since the Grand National Experimental (GNX) is a 2nd Gen Buick Regal should I put that in the Mk: section? Also if it's any use it's built on a GM G platform, also known as a G-Body (Although it's not a body but a designation used for mid-sized rear wheel drive cars first from 1969-1972 and again from 1982 to 1988.)
Noko Tau 2016-04-28 11:12 | Since this is Ted & Sue Richardson's custom 'Bu'Wicked' Special, shouldn't it be 'custom' instead of 'coupé'?

2016-04-15 22:29 | Noko Tau wrote Is it a MK3 (Corsa C)? Really? I'm only saying since the Opel Corsa A was branded the Vauxhall Nova in the UK so the first Vauxhall Corsa was the Opel Corsa B. So isn't the third gen Opel Corsa is really only the second gen Vauxhall Corsa? Correct, for Vauxhall this was the second generation.

Noko Tau 2016-04-15 03:50 | Nice shot of the car though. Real depth to the wheels which I always thought was Polyphony's weakest aspect of this car.
Noko Tau 2016-04-15 03:47 | I think the GT5 version was also a Type AZ. Same 425cc specs as the GT6, right? |
