I don't think MS would risk losing the entire brand just because of that reason. I'm sure they wouldn't mind adding the Eclipse Cross for example, it fits after all in Horizon.

So wait, if Mitsubishi pulled their licensing, then wouldn't this car not just be unplayable, it wouldn't appear at all? Or would they still let them keep it in as an undriveable traffic car? I thought Mitsubishi had pulled their licensing from the beginning of development and the secret only just came out. But based on this, it looks like they had originally licensed a few cars, Playground had started putting them in the game, and then at the 11th hour they pulled the license. So does this mean that the game developers have to pull all the Mitsubishis that they have put in the game already, including in cutscenes and the background?

I think it could be Mitsubishi wanting to put one of their new Crossovers in the game but Forza said no, so Mitsubishi revoked their licence.

Ah, I see. In the UK and some other markets the Mk.4 facelift was known as the Mk.5, and ever since then the generations have been one number higher. So the new car is the Mk.8 to some (including the Brits at M-Sport). So we're both right, because Ford can't keep their nomenclature consistent around the world.

The Crown Victoria is listed 5 times in TC1, there's civilian, parked civilian, taxi, police and parked police versions. If two cars aren't the exact same model or don't serve the same purpose, they get listed separately.
