I believe the car was changed because it looked too much like a 930 (to be fair the cars in this game are exact replicas) and Porsche asked him to remove the car or change the sprite. If it was EA or Porsche then they would've removed the car COMPLETELY out of the game, leaving little to no reference in the final. Just like what happened in GT3. They were gonna use the Porsche 911 GT3 but then Porsche, or Ea got all pissed about and told them not to use it, so they started using RUFs instead. The car could've been a RUF Yellow Bird for all I know. Maybe the car had troubles with development or the new update? |
