2019-02-04 17:31 | Maki wrote I know it's an old Forza model, but it's a JDM-spec model rather than the USDM model. Interior picture here to prove this: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=128654 This generation of Legacy was launched in the US in 2004 for the 2005 model year, but it went on sale in May 2003 in Japan. Japan doesn't use the North American model year system, so technically, the launch versions of this car were 2003 rather than 2004 models. There are also several differences between the US and Japanese-spec Legacies: the bumpers, the lights... Even the engines were difference, with the US Legacies receiving a 2.5-litre turbocharged flat-four rather than the Japanese 2-litre one. Exactly. Just the fact it's RHD says that it's not an USDM spec model.

2019-02-04 01:57 | Why? J-2's going to be pissed. Really mad. This was fine as a 2005 Legacy. Maybe they misidentified the Legacy and made it JDM? I don't know. ![]()

2019-02-03 21:55 | This is a JDM Legacy, not a North American version, so the model year should be 2003.

It was a movie production company in 2014 who needed multiple, expendable copies of the same car for use in shots as needed, when needed. So it is a 1st option - A lot of music for just a pittance - car looks quite similar to older model and it is cheaper ![]()

2015-03-28 15:02 | It depends when was the customisiation made. If it was in 1970s, it is a second option: My dad in early eigthies customised his Škoda to look like a newer model (only front and rear clip changed), hiding it is not a brand new car, because it is cool to have a new car. If it is today, first option is more likely. Guys want to have rare trims with big engines, but they dont have enough money to buy it. So they buy beated up newer model for 1/4 price, put new paint on it and add some accesories like stickers and spoilers to look like older model, but they dont bother with changing fronclips.

2015-03-28 12:59 | J-2 wrote Real AAR? Honestly, there's very little about the exterior that is 1970. It's either a cheap 1972-74 with shaved markers and an AAR hood, spoiler and stripe slapped on, or a far more valueable 1970 with extensive metal work to fill in the markers and graft on 1972-74 front & rear clips. Which do you think is more likely?
