|On display at the Steelworks museum in Pueblo. Built by Davenport and used at the Allen coal mine by the Colorado Fuel and Iron Company, but I can't find any details on the year and model name.
|Thanks for uploading this.
|That emblem...is that supposed to be a tick?
|TheGreaser, if you happen to be driving south of Pueblo, Colorado on the I-25, there is a yellow shunting loco of some kind by the side of the road.
|Also, this obviously isn't playable yet, but will be sooner or later, so I think it should be listed as "playable".

Thanks. I was a bit late though, and hadn't had time to do so. Honest question: Should we get day cab variants of the existing trucks or no?
|Thanks for uploading this and the 300!
|Seeing as the 2014 VNL has all the model variants listed separately, I think the 300 and the 740 variants of this model should be uploaded as well?
Also, seeing that Volvo just revealed the newest VNL a couple of days ago, I wonder how long that will take to appear in-game. Could we be in for a "surprise" release?
|I think its a 1953 John Deere 70
|Ok, thanks. I wonder if that means it will release along with the Nebraska DLC. I guess it's pretty complete since it's already in-game.
|Came from yesterday's blog post on Nebraska's Truck Stops.
My comments are whitelisted though so you have to search for it manually.

|Good catch! Where did you find this? Anyways, looking forward to seeing this ingame, since the current "aero" Mack doesn't do it for me.
|Forget it - I'm gonna reupload this out of malice.

|if the moderators rejected your shots, it's because they didn't abide by the rules. I didn't make the rules but I follow them accordingly.
If they were rejected, then they will tell you why. Same applies for unused cars/assets/beta content.
Hope this clears up this misunderstanding.
|Dear admins, why was my original entry of this locomotive removed with no fault of my own? I actually did this entry when the expansion was released and someone just blindly took my entry away for no reason.
There was no reason for a second entry just to override my old one.... all it needed was an edit and it would be done, but no... they chose to delete my perfectly fine photo with both views, and this worse version got added in its place.
Case in point why this really shows how low this site has gotten.

Well, it wasn't just Ford that started this whole European thing. Chrysler also did so too, with the Dodge Sprinter, and eventually, the Ram Promaster.
Speaking of, it is true Ford did sell 114,000 vans here in the year. Unfortunately, ATS has the S-Max, which is an awful vehicle that was added for no reason, and I have protested its appearance. There were no actual models of the S-Max sold in the U.S. because it is an ILLEGAL import, and does not meet the 25-year law. Yes, I know these are Czech devs but they have no idea that there isn't a single minivan at all in ATS. Despite my constant criticism regarding the Ford S-Max, the model is still occupying the virtual-sized America, and made worse by a scenery prop of the same model plaguing the game.
They have not gotten around the know-how of how American traffic diversity is. Yes, the research trips done year-round alleviate this somewhat, but they still barely added any new AI cars, and ones that they did add this year were all SUVs. Why?
I even went up and threw up a banned sticker of that car not too long ago in the hopes that SCS will delete the car for good. It has not been done.

Huh, you learn something new everyday. I guess my image of American vans is a bit outdated then. Thanks for the link!

|I always think Transits as a European thing, how common are they in the States?
|Can an admin update the front shot with the one Greaser posted?

Waiting for the VNR Electric and the 2020 FH in ETS2.
|Orientitan HD-BT25? It's the closest thing I found:
|Was hoping to see some of the other vehicles added from the Christmas Winterland. It's the same map in both ATS and ETS2, featuring a mix of static traffic cars and vans from both games:
From ETS2 (new to ATS):
VW Golf Mk 2
From ATS (new to ETS2):
American LaFrance 200 Series
Chevrolet Advance Design 3100
Chevrolet City Express

|Greaser, add the DLC to your library from the store page, that fixed the truck not showing up in the dealer for me.
|In addition to this, several other upcoming new trucks were previewed in the Christmas stream: the new Peterbilt 579, Mack Pinnacle, the facelifted International LT and the first electric truck, the Volvo VNR Electric.
|I will have to make do with placeholder pics for now, as the vehicle is currently not available at the moment.
Here's some info about it: blog.scssoft.com/2023/12/kenworth-t680-100-years-anniversary.html
Disregard the sentence since it can be accessed, though it had to be manually installed.

|Maybe Dimi3 could help us out in this case, as that user knows his way around farming equipment like this.
|I suppose it's a John Deere 9570?
|Okay, so here's why this is an easter egg as Hanwoo said it before:
1. PACCAR is an American company specializing the companies of Peterbilt and Kenworth as well as DAF Trucks, N.V.
2. The reason why this is there is to showcase how harmonious SCS has put forth in the partnership with the PACCAR group.
3. It is actually illegal to drive this in the U.S. since we have a 25-year rule regarding how imported vehicles are allowed. There is a show or display policy which this truck does meet those requirements.
4. It is an ETS2 model, complete with digitalized mirrors which are not federalized in the U.S.
5. Lastly you cannot drive this vehicle, hence why it is listed as "unplayable".
EDIT: The blog mentioned the easter egg, and this is the very easter egg shown above.

It is also quite hard to import these trucks into the United States, plus they aren't suitable for American trucking, so it is odd that they have this in the game.
|Wow, DAF XG+ in ATS? Easter egg.

|I think the Space Shuttle would warrant it's own entry, even if it is a replica: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Shuttle_Independence
|Speaking of SpaceX, the Starbase-lookalike east of Brownsville, Texas, has the Starship and the Starhopper prototype that aren't yet listed.
|Looks to be heavily based on Case IH's autonomous tractor concept, which does not have a model name.

|Why were my pics removed?? This photo is worse than what I submitted before
Here's the actual replacement: imgur.com/a/QWyHQJH
|Whoa, what's the deal? I already added this shunter not too long ago. Why is this up?
This entry should be deleted, and the info should go to the one listed as unknown. And these angles are terrible.
American Truck Simulator (2016)
|Alright, before I get started, let me remind you of something: In about one hour from now SCS will roll out the Kansas DLC for all of us on Steam.
As with the previous DLCs as of last year, I am a dedicated contributor of these two flagship trucking sims, and just like Oklahoma I will work on this project throughout the few days of release. Any assistance regarding any new content will be appreciated, but any submissions not by me will probably be rejected. That has been the rule so nobody goes chaotic over a cluster of shots of varying quality. Since I have specs that can achieve maximum quality pics, it is up to myself to attest this responsibility for years to come.
Also arriving alongside this map expansion is the Farm Machinery DLC pack. These contain brand-new cargoes about farm equipment and we got new tractors to look forward to. As Kansas - the Sunflower State - is a major purveyor of agriculture, it makes a lot of sense to bring about new equipment. Will all of this be put together? If I see them, I will add them.
Let us ride together, and carry on, my wayward son.
Addendum: I am acutely aware that this state does have Missouri welcome signs, but unless otherwise officially announced and developed, any submissions to a "Missouri Welcomes You" sign will not be accepted at this time. Thanks for understanding.

American Truck Simulator (2016)
|I've noticed there's some kind of old yellow shunting locomotive by the roadside on the I-25 south of Pueblo, Colorado, IIRC. I don't think it's listed here.

Reminds me of a Model 60, not sure if they came with 3 wheels
I know the Model B did but it's longer looking and has a different grill.
Model might just be loosely based on various parts?
|This model is quite rare outside of cities given the UTV look, and despite the mass purging of fictional badging this model survived relatively unscathed. These can also be found dragged behind AI pickup trucks.
I wouldn't say it is road legal in any city, especially not in Las Vegas.
|The truck is back in the game!
|In the game files it's called a Kia Sportage, oddly.
|They edited the model so the Hyundai badging is gone now.
