2020-04-15 05:42 | Almost J-2-ish here, but nice job, @Twilight Sparkplug. But seeing this as thumbnails next to the other cars in the whole BeamNG page felt this needs even more to stick with the others... EDIT: My shots got accepted, see above. -- Last edit: 2020-07-28 16:05:21

2020-04-14 08:59 | RushCars24 a écrit I'd figured out to resurrect J-2's "very" old magic back on these pics and put it together myself, I've tried my best to get close enough to look like J-2's shots in this game, well, looks like I've officially found the way to get J-2's magic of photoshooting back. @J-2, tell me if you like my attempt to bring your old magic back for this game? Flawless job, congrats! I'm glad my style is still being kept and appreciated, I honestly think (totally biased opinion of course...) is what work best for most cases after years of testing, and it's quite easy to replicate, it's always mainly a closeup with the height leveled with the car alone (other cars in the scene can be distracting), both front and rear at 45º so a bit of the side is always seen, and being careful with the lighting so it doesn't look too bright or too dark in both the front/back and side. Of course I always encourage creativity, but in games like Forza or GT for example, where you have to do lots of cars, and since the goal is list cars, the main focus should always be making sure the car is well seen, since again, listing is what this web is for, without wasting space in the pic, and trying to keep consistency (which is great to compare differences between games), when I started Forza Motorsport 2 I used to be way more wild, but I think this is the right balance, since you can still do plenty of things to make them a bit different and fun (different backgrounds, doing the angled shot both from the left and the right rotating the camera a bit, being in a straight line, on a corner, drifting, braking, different body colors, maybe turning on the headlights...) -- Last edit: 2020-04-14 09:05:04

2020-04-08 16:51 | Just to make things more confusing, here is the SUV version of the Vivace. The interior is definitely inspired by the i-Cockpit Peugeots, with the gauge cluster above the steering, but again, the exterior is a mix of so many things, both real and fictional, that I think M4G is the way to go with those two...

2020-03-22 16:27 | Well, if you look on the official BeamNG wiki, every variant has it's own internal name, including specific internal names for the automatic and manual transmission models. D-Series, for example: wiki.beamng.com/Gavril_D-Series

2020-03-22 02:13 | TheGreaser a écrit I wish - but JFK said at the time, that a year ago there were so many that it made a mess, so they had to list only one type of body. They should focus on different types, only under BeamNG - Official. Same goes for liveries (only if they are found in the files). Guess that's a conversation we're having to cope with the ongoing pandemic. We're all in isolation and in this together. I still think my idea of only major changes should be listed, like the D-Series for example, instead of listing the 30 different models of it, you should have, The Bronco, The Single Cab, the extended Cab,the Crew Cab, and the Dually. Sure it's a lot, but at least it's not the shitload the game already haves, of course this new facelift, (Facedrop?) might mess it up a bit.

2020-03-22 02:00 | carcrasher88 a écrit Honestly...shouldn't all of the variations of all of the official vehicles be listed? I mean, they are all their own unique vehicle models in game, it's not like you're modifying the 'base' model into these variants, they're spawned as a unique model, each with their own in-game vehicle file. Which, IIRC, according to this site's rules, allows them to be individually listed, shouldn't they? 2020-03-22 01:37 | 3DTunes a écrit Well looking at the Roamer LXT it has the similar enough dimension to the Excursion more than the Centurion, but to be honest it would probably be another Made For Game at this rate as it can't be the slightly smaller Expedition as it didn't get the extended body treatment until the 2007 model year. And are we going to talk about the 1973-75 Moonhawk? I don't know why that isn't here. It's different enough to have it's own entree

2020-03-22 01:07 | 3DTunes a écrit It is? Because the Roamer is quite rounded along the edges when the developers gave it that body update so it is not flat as it originally was. 2020-03-22 00:44 | 3DTunes a écrit I could see it if the Roamer was a lot more flat but as it is rounded and the Centurion Classic has a removable bed cap unlike the Roamer LXT one piece body also looking at the back of it you could see barn doors which is more in line with the Ford Excursion XLT rear swing doors than the Centurion's normal rear tailgate. 2020-03-22 00:09 | 3DTunes a écrit I was thinking the same thing, since the regular Roamer is the Ford Explorer would the LXT version be the Ford Expedition or maybe the Ford Excursion since it is an extended SUV. Maybe even the Centurion. The Roamer does have a 87-92 Ford look to it
