Referred to variously as "bullsh*t" and the "hypercar of horrors," this...thingy is allegedly built in Dubai by people who want it to be the fastest street legal car ever. Its engine is a custom LS-based quad-turbo V16 that makes around 3,000 horsepower on pump gas and 5,000 (!) horsepower on race gas. Unlike everything else in or on this beast, that's been built, and it works as advertised. Steve Morris Engines built it, and you can check it out on his website. It looks exactly as psychotic as you think. Supposedly it does 0-60 MPH in 1.8 seconds and tops out at 348 miles per hour. So, uh, yeah. That's the Devel Sixteen. I doubt it will ever see the light of day. |
