Nah. The obvious reason is Cortina never sold in the US market, and it was made by Ford of Britain. Which in that time only sold in UK, Australia, and some East Asia countries.
civic_eg6_94 photo_librarymode_comment 2013-06-21 19:56 | Sorry, what I meant is BMW 5 series [E39]. Well, the car seems like a mixture between E39 5 series (rear) and C-Class (front).
schaefft photo_librarymode_comment 2013-06-21 18:29 | Theres no such thing as an E36 5 series, the E36 is the 3 series which doesnt have any resemblance to this. If you compare the greenhouse with the current generation C-Class, it will be quite obvious the model is based on it. A proper front shot would make it even clearer. abload.de/image.php?img=1212124ku6g.jpg

2013-05-10 17:39 | Yeah, this is the Blue's version of the Aspen, which makes sense, considering that the Dodge Durango, the vehicle it's based on, is a commonly used Police SUV: And Carcrasher, there's no way in hell that's a QX56. The design is clearly derived from American SUVs like the Aspen, Durango, and in the case of the wheelwell shape, Chevrolet Tahoe. I like to view identifying cars this way: the more modifications you have to make to make the car into an authentic model of whatever vehicle you propose, the less likely it is to be your proposed vehicle. Let's take a look at what has to be done to make it into our respective proposed vehicles, shall we? Aspen: Change headlights Change Wheelwell shape Change D-pillar shape QX56: Change headlights Change grille Change fender shape Change rear door handles Change C-pillar Shape Change Wheelwells Black out B-Pillar Change Trim That's more than twice the amount of changes that have to be made to make it into an authentic QX56 as opposed to an Aspen. Let's go one further, shall we? Honda Pilot: Change Grille Change Window Shape Body-color the B-pillar Change Wheelwell Shape Change Trim Now that's closer, yes, but still not as close as the Aspen. I love those vehicles, but I cannot honestly say that this is an example of either the Pilot or the QX56. -- Last edit: 2013-05-10 18:12:35

2013-05-07 15:53 | Sure looks like it, which would (awkwardly, in this case) make it an Infiniti QX56 with a body colored B-pillar, reversed C-pillar, and 2012+ Honda Pilot headlights and a Chrysler Aspen SIZED version of the 2012+ Pilot's grille (not the Aspen's grille, it's just the same size as it). Edit: Actually, from here, the grille DOES look like the Aspen...headlights are still Honda Pilot, though. -- Last edit: 2013-05-07 15:58:43
