I don't know about the F430 (the rear looks like a Gallardo), but this certainly isn't an LFA.

BTW civic, nice shots - are they yours? Just asking, because I think we should replace the current shots for this vehicle with better ones.

Yep, those are mine. I still have the game since maybe this page need a bit of shots replacement, but nobody even give a damn about it.

Doesn't this also come in a paint-job that has colors of the Italian flag? Or was that a different car?

See for yourself:
i40.tinypic.com/2moph1s.jpg
i39.tinypic.com/aaiz4n.jpg

Anyway, if I must say, this car is more of a Ferrari F430 due to body style and the fact it's available with Italian flag livery. 360 is too curvy and LFA has more slopier back.

Not sure if F430 maybe more 360. But still it's definitely more looking like Ferrari than LFA.

There does seem to be a language problem with some users and admins on this site. I find that most people who don't have English as their first language, sometimes get confused by things like that. Not so long ago I made a comment on Burnout Revenge, saying something like "all of these cars should be M4G, but there are exceptions", but PikesPeak didn't catch that last part.

Why not? Just look at the shape of the back of the bike - it's identical (even the seam between the two body panels is in the same place). As with most vehicles in Sleeping Dogs (and every video game ever) the headlight is different, but everything else is perfect.

Is it possible to put it as an "Audi Made For Game"? I'd be happy with that, because it would actually be useful for anyone who visits this page and wants to know what the car is. Only putting 'M4G' doesn't help anyone...

Also, wouldn't this car be an "Audi unknown" in any other instance?

There's no such thing as "Audi Made For Game" -_-
There are somewhat like "[brand name] unknown", but only in particular brand that doesn't have major difference between models in real life (for example, Edsel or International). This one has many arguements and many user still doubt that this one is an Audi model since we don't know which Audi is it, so we can't rename it to "Audi Unknown".

Max 30 cars/ page
Some links at the top (instead of All-Cars...): All-A-B-C-D... with only the letters that are in the game (if not make with K, no K at the top)

I prefer your first idea (50 cars per page), but with more like giving links on top to split the playable and unplayable vehicle.
If the playable/unplayable vehicle section in the page is too cluttered (like in GT5 for example), we could add the alphabetical links under the playabie/unplayable link.

Yeah, there is drawbacks to my suggestion, which I admit I didn't see after I thought of it, but I guess this would really apply to games that have official licensing to cars like the GT series, Forza, NFS, CarTown (with some exceptions. And I guess with other games with fictional cars, could retain the current layout, which I dunno if that could be possible, games like Grand Theft Auto, well, the latest ones like IV+ Episodes, could list the cars underneath the fictional in game manufacturers as well, but as mentioned before, would be alot of problems.

That also sounds really cool. But, it could cause problems when a car is misidentified (cause you won't find it in the section you'd think it was in), although it could make unknown and M4G cars stand out more clearly.

It's basically like the concept of how GT5's New Car Dealership works, you have one page that shows all the available manufacturers listed, and then click on whichever, it goes to a different page, with the cars listed. May be more tedious than the current layout, but to me it's easier to find cars.

Do whatever you guys want, Like I said, I wasn't defending lcpdcv. But I also have an idea that might work along with the multiple pages. Like, with GT5, have all the cars listed under whichever the manufacturer is, with whatever particular car. Like for an example

Acura [5]
AC [1]
Aston Martin [2]
Audi [4]
etc

You don't get the point do you, Marec suggests something, but then when it doesn't happen, he goes full into a hissy fit because the moderators doesn't change the name within 5 minutes, and then if others tried telling him to knock it off, he goes off on them with ridiculous nonsense and it gets to the point where you'd hate him literally. And, I'm not defending lcpdcv, but he hasn't said anything provoking, yet you're calling him a dick. Wow.

Just because i had erased his comment. Lcpdcv said that he's a son of a bitch etc although daniel had said nothing. So i had ban lcpdcv, this the 10th time i had said it, that he hadn't to insult the others members.

Other big problem: The host of IGCD send me a mail to said that IGCD used too more ressources and they said to me to change something to solve the problem (IGCD had at this time a first avertisment and had be separated (etemporary) of the other sites of the servor to not take all of the ressources) . I think next problem> IGCD will be stop. So after seeing log, 80% of th log are from the pictures. Perhapes we could have less if we put some pages for a game that have a lot of cars (loke GT5, car town or oa lot others). So some members will dont take all the pictures automatically. What did you think of that? Perhaps we could put 50 cars / page. So the game with more than 50 cars, have more than 1 pages, on the same system thant "unknown" page

Based upon everything lcpdcv has ever written, including what he said about me when I first joined is more than enough justification to say he can be a bit of a dick, especially when it comes to new users.

I know the story behind Marec, but you can't say that every new member who is slightly active is Marec. It's exactly this which nearly put me off ever visiting this place again.

There are some vehicles on here that get identified in comments, but are never put into practice by the moderators, and there are also some vehicles which are misidentified, but without new radical ideas (like the ones this guy is showing) those cars will never be properly identified.

Tuppence isn't Marec guys... his English is way too good, and he actually has worthwhile arguments to back up his points rather than just saying "wah mods why you no change dis car name?"

Yep, we already know that. His argument has more sense rather than Marec.

Tuppence870 a écrit
Regardless of that, remember this car? The front of this is clearly a Jaguar XFR/XJ, but the body is a Maserati Quattroporte, yet it has been listed as the Maserati. Here, the front is unidentifiable and the body is an Audi R8, yet it is listed as Made For Game.

Also, remember this car in Sleeping Dogs? It clearly takes from the same styling cues as the Panzer, and has generally been suggested as an Audi in its thread (I personally believe it to be an Audi A7, since it has an almost identical body shape). If the Executive or Panzer is proven to be an Audi, then the other should be an Audi by default.

Vehicles in GTA have more sense of realism rather than in here. For example, the F620 from GTA:TBOGT. It's a mix between Jag XKR and Maserati GranTurismo, but since looks really like XKR despite of the front, then it's a XKR.

Meanwhile, the Executive is just like the sedan version of Panzer, but there are no R8 sedan in real life, and it doesn't look similar like A7. That's why it still MFG until now.
