2013-02-18 21:56 | Not true. It was called 96 on its own from 1960-65, then from 1965, named Saab Sedan for the two-stroke versions and Saab V4 Sedan for the V4 versions. In 1969 they were renamed to Saab 96 V4 and this name continued until end of production in 1980.
