I'm guess it might cost a lot more, with all that tech, and I just can't see them even in the same league of success as the good ol' Crown Vic.. It is pretty awesome though.. And yeah, that's a nice idea on the Durango, but again, it's got competition from the Tahoe Police Package, and the Explorer-based Police Interceptor Utility.. For me, it's sort of a three way battle of the sedans.. |

It'll be 4 police cars competing against each other, with the Caprice and Charger you mentioned, along with the Taurus and the E7 as well. The Charger and Caprice are RWD (the new Charger doesn't have AWD available, right?), the Taurus is FWD/AWD. I keep forgetting what the Carbon E7 is, though... A Hemi-powered Durango police unit would be awesome, too (depending on which side of the law you're on, of course...). |

It will be the end of a true legend, but will be very interesting to see what happens, with the Chevy Caprice PPV and Dodge Charger Pursuit entering the market.. Perhaps too early to tell yet, but I don't think the Police Interceptor will ever fill it's predecessor's boots.. Interestingly, the Crown Vic Interceptor's chassis code (P71) will be passed to the Police Interceptor. (Changing the 2010 Crown Vic's to P7A..) However Crown Vic's will probably still be seen patrolling for a good few years yet. Police forces are currently stockpiling them. Note that all RAM branded models have the 1500/2500/3500 designations on the doors. The 2009 Dodge Ram lineup don't have the model designations, and thus are recognizeable of being built before the transfer to the RAM brand, as shown in this in-game pic. My apologies for the inappropriate accident. It'll never happen again. (hopefully I won't get banned for it...) |

I'd call it coupé too. To be honest, if I were to call it a hatchback, I'd pronounce it hunchback intentionally I'm not really a fan of retro "wannabe" cars. |

2011-03-28 14:42 | I really don't see why this should even really be counted as an exception. As I've understood, we all go for the rear part when classifying vehicles, and this one has a hatch and even four doors, I guess that quite clearly makes it a hatchback. Some manufacturers tend to style sedans and hatchbacks more coupe-wise in order to achieve more sales, but they sure don't fool me. This is a car database, we follow our own system, not Porsche's or anyone else's. Maybe it would be better to include a new class just for newer oddities like this one and the BMW 5 GT, for example ... no, I think it's good enough the way it is, really. |

And like MG B GT it has hatchback style opening trunk, but by the body style it's coupe. It's same for Panamera but to it's size and big* trunk it's sedan. *i mean it's going long back from rear window like sedan and it isn't going so short from rear window like coupes,hatchbacks and MG B GT. |
