2006-11-01 22:31 | Still, the headlights do not detract from the fact that the car still retains a similar body to a Celica: Bonsai: img342.imageshack.us/img342/9443/car92ar.png Celica: www.carcentury.com/images/history/2-4.jpg -- Last edit: 2006-11-01 22:34:33

2006-11-01 22:25 | Still, "Sunrise" can also be linked to "Lumina", since lumina also conjures up images of light (e.g luminescent). I don't really feel the car is japanese at all, since its body shape is distinctly similar to cars built on the GM10 platform. Indeed, it looks more like one of those American attempts to sportify their basic sedans with better engines and exterior cladding, kind of like the Ford Taurus SHO or the Pontiac Grand Prix GTP

2006-11-01 11:21 | This brings to mind some Toyota or Nissan that's been modded up, boy-racer style, ending up looking a bit ugly. The name Sunrise might mean it's based on a Japanese make (Sunrise = Rising Sun = Japan).
