It's still work and will cost money and time. The more you can reuse, the less you will spend.

Because what you already modeled before isnt that hard to remodel. Im pretty sure they explained that its from scratch due to them splitting

You think so? Explain me why tons of WOS cars are in Shift aswell.

The Shift games and all their assets belong to EA. Even if SMS still had the assets, it would be illegal for them to use them. That's all.

How do you know that it fully belongs to EA and that EA didn't pay SMS for their work and then goodbye?
If SMS had to remake the same S14, they could have made a JDM version which doesn't have that odd bumper, but instead they have the same car ingame, that means they used the same assets, of course reworked since some years passed between the release of NFS Shift and the development of WOS, but still, assets, if good, are always useful.

I agree with speedevil considering they parted ways from EA, this might be another one. EA is pretty possessive

Edit : I think I read before how the devs explaining how they are rebuilding everything due to the fact the two companies parting away

Most of the assets are in common since Slightly Mad Studios made Shift 1/2.
Plus, is the same exact EUDM 200SX, with the specific rear bumper with the black plastic part.

I don't think so, that S14 3D model is an asset that belongs to EA.
