I've edited the Origin twice to: USA and it hasn't been accepted.
Admins, don't you know this specific NSX is a fully american project made by Acura and not by Honda in Japan?

Maybe it's like the new ford GT case , I was in your postion . Technically speaking the origin of a 2017 GT is Canada not America but because the series as whole is American it was put as American. Maybe same applies to this

+1, companies like Acura and scion (when it was open) were regional and sold in specific areas. We had neither. (Few imported acuras no scions though at all) for example Chrysler 300 in Italy is lancia thema (I think) all I'm saying names differ depending on region :)

Because the Acura brand isn't sold in Japan.

The only Japanese automaker that sells it's luxury models under a different brand then their corporate namesake is Toyota, as they've been selling the Lexus brand there since 2005, while Nissan's luxury models that are sold here as Infinitis are still sold as Nissans there (though ones like the Skyline do now have the Infiniti badge on it), and the only current Acura models sold as Hondas in Japan are this and the RLX, known in Japan at the Honda Legend.

So it's not made in Japan anymore? Then why have it badged as a Honda? :??:

No, unlike older NSX , this one is built in America. Acura is basically only for USA. I Think it's cheaper to build in US. I never looked into it deeply, all I know the new NSX is built there

Normally in the NSX case we label Hondas as Japan and Acuras as US.

I was gonna do that but this NSX is different from older ones

I labeled it origin US because both Honda and Acura NSX are made there though not sure if I should put Japan because this was labeled Honda not Acura
