2014-12-01 23:45		The word 'hatchback' refers to having a hatch in the back, it's actually not related to the shape of the car. It means that the tailgate opens with the rear window.

All the cars you listed are 2 door sedans. They look like hatchbacks to us, because we are used to seeing modern small 2-box cars that are all hatchbacks.

The Opel Kadett D, for example, was available in sedan and hatchback, which looked exactly the same, but had a different trunk opening.

Why sedan? It looks like ordinary hatchback rather than sedan for me + btw, Fiat 126, Fiat 500, ZAZ 965 are 2-door rear engined hatchbacks aswell and no one calls them "sedans"
