2020-02-28 00:16 | Honestly, after thinking about this car again, it is better if i will edit it as Made for Game. The car has besides the front grille and the livery of Richard Petty's old 1973 Dodge Charger, has nothing that looks like the real Dodge Charger. It is a normal 1997 NASCAR with Charger front grille. It's just a fantasy car. That's it at all. |

2020-02-09 20:13 | This is definitely not a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix. The livery and front grille of this car is based on Richard Petty's 1973 STP Dodge Charger. i.pinimg.com/originals/81/38/9f/81389f2aa6441a81962656ff0f48db57.jpg The car appears as the other ones with 1997 NASCAR Bodykit. Here as comparison with the real 1997 STP Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Bobby Hamilton, the Pontiac headlights and the grill looks very different: media.gettyimages.com/photos/mar-1997-nascar-driver-bobby-hamilton-in-a-pontiac-grand-prix-racing-picture-id255115?s=2048x2048 -- Last edit: 2020-02-28 00:09:49 |

2013-09-25 20:03 | Actually, a year and a bit on, it turns out this is a fictional scheme based on Richard Petty's 1979 car. The closest I can find to a Grand Prix running a scheme similar to this was in 1996, when they raced with various classic paintjobs to commemorate the teams' 25th anniversary. Here's a model of the car I'm talking about:![]() Even still, there were fantasy contigencies in this game version, such as the classic front end and the curved hood stripes. |
