2023-02-24 02:46 | Interesting fact about this Sports 800...it's one of a very limited number of LHD models that were built, 300 in total. The majority of them were made for the Okinawa market (which, at the time post-WW2, was LHD, as opposed to the rest of Japan), but Toyota also sent around 40 of them to the US, though it was decided that the car would likely be a sales flop, Toyota let dealers keep the around 40 LHD models. It's likely tough to tell whether it was the former or latter...heck, even telling where the car they modeled IS is tough, as it turns out...both the Lane Motor Museum and the Petersen Automotive Museum, both very likely places for T10 to have gone to model classic cars for the game...have identical Sports 800s, both red with a black roof. |

2023-02-02 21:23 | We finally get to see this car in a video game again but unfortunately, the most powerful engine swap for this car is a BMW I6. Should've been the Civic Type-R engine instead. |
