Silnev photo_librarymode_comment 2021-04-10 23:34 | I'm with Tuppence and I would lean towards it being a Vantage rather than a DB9. -- Last edit: 2021-04-11 02:35:05 |

I've got a model of a DBS next to my computer and I just held it up to the screen to see if it fit, and proportionally it's pretty close. However, one the topic of side skirts, the DBS has one, but it's not an exact match and still lacks any kind of shoulder line running along the doors. This is unlike the Vantage which is clearly the inspiration behind the detailing on this car. I guess it's a little bit of both? But is it more of an extended Vantage or a DB9 with Vantage parts? |

2021-04-10 22:22 | The Vantage has a pretty flat front end. This has the long nose of the DB9. It's also larger. This is a car with a roughly 2.75m wheelbase like the DB9, not the 2.6m wheelbase of the Vantage. It is hard to tell without context. Since you mentioned the skirts, that seems to line up more with the DBS than the regular DB9. |

Most modern Astons are fairly similar so it is easy to get them mixed up (and people on this site frequently do). However all of the details I see here point to the Vantage, most notably the side skirt and feature line across the doors. PS; Having looked into it a bit more, I have a feeling that the side skirt is specific to the V8 Vantage S & V12 Vantage (2011-2018) -- Last edit: 2021-04-10 21:57:06 |
