People complained the vehicles in Saints Row 1 & 2 were too slow. SRTT and SRIV/GooH run on a modified version of the engine the first two games used, where the vehicle speeds are capped fairly low for whatever mechanical reason. They tried to mask the problem by using dubbed over sounds of vehicles running through gears to make them all seem faster than they really are! |
