Actually it never raced because group S never launched, not because of examples built, and group S required at least ten built, not 5000 as you said

This car didn´t participated in rally, because the rules was selling 5000 cars by year, and the car didn´t obey the rules.

Several things:

1. The actual name is MR2 222D.

2. It never raced, so it's technically a prototype, not a racecar.

Could a mod. please change that?
