Rear lights too, they seem to develope in height: leads me to think this is a 90s compact executive sedan, from Mercedes. The only thing that bugs me are the side-windows: they have a third light, which is absent in the original W202...

I dont know.. I think the styling is of the previus generation.
also there is nothing to suggest the engine size being a 320 or 350.

I would personally say 1993. the W202 But it is hard to see from the image you may be right I just feel the hood is too flat, We shall see what others think too.
