Looks way too modern to be from the time period the game takes place in.
You'd think you'd be able to drive this, sheesh!
The civilian varient looks pretty damn baller. Wouldn't mind dailying something like this!
Game has a weird gamma setting and fiddling with it prior made the graphics look pretty ugly. Truck appears very briefly near the beginning and end of the game. In hindsight, I should have settled on weird gamma settings just so we could have seen the grill, ugh.
The Spy Who Shrunk Me (2018) | store.steampowered.com/app/754850/The_Spy_Who_Shrunk_Me/ Fun yet short budget romp that despite it's lack of polish still has a bit of charm. The player has the ability to shrink enemies and themselves to sneak past Communist's and avoid capture with a wide array of gadget. Honestly not too shabby and while most of the jokes don't land a few do. The game actually accuses you of being a game journalist if you score an F rank on a level, hehe.
The Forgotten Ones (2014) | Oof, this was a bad mod. Decent enough effort but horrible execution.
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (2014) | People can Fly are still around, but they haven't really been allowed to do their own thing for years, mostly working on Gears of War, Fortnite and the BulletStorm Remaster. They have their own game coming out in 2020 so let's see where that goes. But what I'm REALLY stoked for is The Astronaut's "Witchfire", a Fantasy SP-Focused FPS c:
Rather interesting to see these in a WW2 setting, as only a couple hundred Civvie models were made before the advent of WW2 and only handfuls were produced for the Nazi Elite from 41 and onward. I guess it makes sense there are a couple hanging around due to the area being of high significance to the Nazi Party in-game.
Harbilt 860? | ||
Doomsday Racers (2005) | How the HELL did this game get released in 2005? Looks like a Playstation launch title!
Made Man (2007) | Could have sworn there were more cars then this, I have the game on a flashdrive so manybe one day I should give it another playthrough. This games a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine!
The Bradwell Conspiracy (2019) | Simple puzzle/adventure game. Not gonna accuse it of being a "Walking Sim" as it has more depth then most. Was a bit tricky getting these vehicles screens, as most of them are situated around a VERY big spoiler at the end of the game.
Ford Racing: Off Road (2008) | Lame. No early 90's Explorer or 80's ranger? No Ranchero? No 70's or even 90's F-150? You can't ignore the classics! Hell, you don't even have any Bronco's beyond a cool concept car!
Strange, looks modern even by 2019 standards! Sure as hell is more of a looker then whatever the hell that new Blazer is supposed to be!
Gears 5 (2019) | Looking at these shots, It seems most of them are just ported over from Gears 4
What a monster of a Blazer! I want 10 of them!
L.A. Rush (2005) | Man, I remember having so much fun with the Xbox Demo of this game
Looks a bit like a late 90's Cadillac Eldorado and a modern Ford Crown Vic, strange yet fascinating combo!
Not the first time a Terminator game referenced the Leman's Technical from the first terminator film!
One hell of a nod to Terminator 2!
I hope the vehicles are interactive this time around, could be a lot of fun seeing them getting torn apart in combat!
Interesting to note this one appears like it's been driven lately, considering 99% of all vehicles in the base game have been nonfunctioning for a good 20 years.
Ah, thanks for the heads up.
Appears at a distance in a SFM cutscene, hard to identify.
I doubt a ZAZ 968 has ever set foot on the streets of NYC...
Can't be a game set in London without one of these babies rolling around!
It's like they slapped on a classic wood-paneling bodykit onto a mid 00's station wagon.
Odd choice. Why use a HiAce in an american setting when they could have settled for any number of available American Vans is beyond me.
An Aerostar? Interesting choice! I used to see these in every neighborhood in my home city, now it's a rare sight to see them even in videogames! -- Last edit: 2019-10-27 02:17:29
Damn, if only this ol' fella was still drivable. It would have been the only car in the whole game with an ounce of personality!
Car has both rusty and a spotless skin variants. How something which would be considered a classic by the time of the Chernobyl disaster could look so dapper in the followed decades sitting abandoned in Pripyat is beyond me.
Front is an 80's EL Camino and rear looks like something from the 50's, very strange.
Turret reads "I could have been lots of buckets", hehe
Ah, uploaded the same car twice due to modifications. This is the "Roadster" edition you find abandoned midway through the game. Cryengine allows heavy prop modifications so some scraps of the environment have been slapped onto the base model.
"Them Duke Boy's are at it again!"
Kind of makes me wish we had a bit of a boss-fight against these guys, fighting one is a doozy but fighting a squad of them would have been hair-raising. I could imagine the mapper could have a lot of fun making that arena!
This tank has some very nice details. Shortened barrel for one due to Black Mesa's tight quarters (almost like the HECU were preparing for this incident for years) but also the player can be damaged from the concussive force of the main gun if they stick to close to it when it fires.
What an absolutely bizarre vehicle. I want 10 of them!
Looks like a 1995 model to me.
Hehe, nice little easter egg!
I have no words for this. The texture for this model is borked no matter what.
You are looking at the vehicle featured in the shortest driving segment to ever appear in videogaming. You use this forklift to drive 10 feet and move a box out of your way before immediately abandoning it, never to drive one again for the rest of the game.
Always great to see a Cougar!
Now this is cool, my dad drove a rusted 59' Karmann Ghia back when he was in highschool in the late 60's. It fell apart in the school parking lot in 71' when a student riding his motorcycle accidentally ran into it. -- Last edit: 2019-09-22 06:39:47
Looks like a leftover from the initial F.E.A.R Released in 2005.
Looks like they took inspiration from those Mad-Maxesque ISIS car-bombs that attempted to drive headlong into allied frontlines.
My god. They actually went ahead and created another model for their Helix! I swear, the 07' Modern Warfare Helix must have found it's way into 6 COD entries! -- Last edit: 2019-09-14 23:22:15
Wonder why it never appears ingame proper, looks like a decent model!
This is probably the meanest Challenger I have ever seen!
Funny how despite it being the newest car model in the game, it's just a dilapidated wreck. |
