 BAE Systems Hawk Forza Horizon 2 (2014) | Stryker_27 wrote The RAF's BAE Hawk is actually closer but the tail wings don't match because they're mounted above the thruster when this plane has them mounted underneath the thruster. Two other details are the turbine intakes' design which isn't the same, and the main wings. The Hawk's are flat while this one has them angled slightly downwards. The Aero Vodochody L-39 could be another candidate, the main wings are the wrong shape and it's got the same problem with the rear wings (are there any trainers with the rear wings below the thruster?), but the intakes are a much better match. I reckon the BAE Hawk is the closer match overall, but it's probably a mix of several inspirations, so it's a matter of whether you'd rather pick a plane that's similar but not an exact match, or just call it MFG. | |

From my understanding, aren't the vehicle models pretty much the same between both versions of the game? There are a small number of exclusive cars in each version, but the majority are identical. For other games where different versions were given separate pages (eg Alan Wake, Saints Row 3), it was because the vehicles were remodelled and looked different, while if this game was split, you'd have two nearly identical pages. For example, train simulators have plenty of paid addons (standalone trains or complete routes with new trains) made by 3rd party devs that can be just as good or better than the addons made by the original devs. Addons that the devs have allowed to be sold on Steam alongside "official" DLC content. Content such as this is also treated as mods? Just making sure. I don't know about every train simulator, but for the Train Sim World games, while there are some addons that are not made by the original developer, I would definitely consider them "outsourced DLC" rather than "paid mods", as they are sold as official DLC on the Xbox/Steam store and must have had some input from the original dev to integrate them into the game (e.g achievements). MSFS is different, in that none of its addons, first or third party, are sold as DLC through the Xbox/Steam storefront (with the exception of the Special/Deluxe editions), they are only sold through the in-game marketplace, which Microsoft refers to as "approved 3rd parties selling directly to simmers". -- Last edit: 2024-04-16 08:47:35 | |
