Has to be at least an E-350, if not an E-450, since it has dual rear wheels.
I still stand by my interpretation of a first generation Neon with an ION front end and the back end of a late model Australian Ford Falcon.
International DuraStar?
If I recall properly, the RR-DI version of the Wagon R was basically the predecessor of the Stingray model, introduced in 2007, a little over a year before the Wagon R was redesigned, right?
Yeah, they certainly messed that up when localizing the game. The second generation xB wasn't a rebadged bB, as this car is, but rather a rebadged Corolla Rumion, which was related to the bB, but larger and designed to appeal to American buyers so it could be sold at the xB.
Lemme guess, shrunken down version of the model from THPS4?
Looks like an FQ-400 to me.
Quad headlights = 1979+
This honestly looks more like a texture glitch than a separate model.
Austin Mini Cooper or Morris Mini Cooper?
Renault 5 Turbo | ||
Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk6?
Looks like an International RXT that's been shortened to a regular cab.
Fiat 500 | ||
1970 Ford Escort RS1600 Mk1
Mercedes-Benz. Definitely a Mercedes-Benz.
Not a Vectra. The back end is too rounded, and the textures don't match. What this is...is a Saturn Aura.
I'm actually surprised it's a JRM Group one and not a Vermont SportsCar one.
Pretty awesome that the Super Car Lites finally make an appearance. Any chance we might see GRC in as well as World RallyCross in this one? It would be awesome to see the Honda Civic and Volkswagen Beetle GRC cars.
It's a rally Lancer. 9 out of 10 times, it's an Evolution. That's just a simple fact of rally cars.
Ah, yes, the Toyota Corolla [KE70]. I agree.
Well, if we go by the Moves listed on this site, no video game has featured a Move newer than this generation (not counting Conte or Latte, which are spinoffs based on the Move chassis). So, honestly...it's not really a surprise that it's an older one when it seems no developer has considered a newer model.
Honestly, the whole thing looks like a highly altered 1994-97 Ford Mustang to me.
I thought it was a Renault Alliance at first, but now I'm not entirely sure...
Volkswagen Quantum [B2]?
Front looks like it came off of some sort of late 80's-early 90's Japanese sedan, body looks like a Range Rover, rear texture is DEFINITELY first generation Saturn VUE.
The Move (and Move Custom) is one of Daihatsu's most popular models in Japan, and there is a bit of popularity in the tuner scene there with these as well. In fact, DAMD even made a body kit for one generation that made it look like a Chrysler up front... www.damd.co.jp/products/imagesCars/move_cust04_bm_a.jpg ...love it or hate it, you've gotta admit, they executed it rather decently.
Mack Super-Liner? | ||
I know nothing's been brought up on this in over 5 years, but...it's not a 4Runner. Look at the windshield, see the steering wheel? Yeah, right hand drive. Also, there's wing mirror on the fender, typical of JDM vehicles. So, it's not a 4Runner, it's a Hilux Surf.
Spawns normally in the following variants/liveries: - Tidis Corporation - Galilei - Tidy Bananas (basically, the van of the window cleaners you see at Auto Elite and Total Motors dealerships) - Pharmingtons - Ladder Rack - CTOS Ladder Rack - WKZ San Francisco with broadcast satellites on the roof - Import/Export - Various graffiti covered liveries, including a 580s one.
I find it funny what the name translates to...The Chair!
How about the 2001 Lincoln MK9 Concept?
Nope, it's a Willys Jeep FJ-3 Fleetvan.
The Nismo was introduced for 2015, wasn't it?
Not is it the first Copen Cero, it's the first licensed second generation Copen, period!
Agreed. It's great to see them diversifying their vehicle selection beyond typical tuner cars. Especially when the Japanese market has such a great variety of cars to choose from. Maybe some foreign cars will make an appearance, too? The 6th generation Camaro (officially sold in Japan, albeit still left hand drive) would be pretty nice to see here, and would fit in great. Maybe a classic Toyota Sports 800? Or one of Nissan's retro cars from the late 80's-early 90's (Figaro, Be-1, Pao, S-Cargo)? Maybe with the apparent end of the exclusive agreement between EA and Porsche, maybe a 930 Turbo?
First CX-3 in a video game. Interesting fact: the Japanese market CX-3 is offered exclusively with the 1.5L SkyActiv-D engine. No gasoline powered option.
Any other angles? Because from here, it could be a Mercury Villager as well. Even if it is a Quest, it's one of the first three generations, so origin is US, not Japan.
Not sure of the rear, but the front and side certainly look like an early 00's Camry to me.
And the wheels look like they came off of a late 90's-early 00's Ford van.
Hägglunds Bandvagn 206?
Hägglunds Bandvagn 206?
Agreed, it certainly seems to match the 387 much better than the TranStar, while the vent on the cowl looks like that of the International DuraStar, just flipped upside down. Also notable is that this truck design seems to have replaced the cabover design also found in the orignal WD, save for the garbage truck variant, as garbage trucks altogether seem to have been omitted in this game. The Small Box Truck version of the cabover was replaced by the MatarHorn Trucks Boxvan, and the WKZ Truck version was replaced by the MatarHorn Trucks Media Broadcast Truck, both of which share the same cab design with the Flatbed. Those variants were also joined by the new Dump Truck and Middleweight DC variants, giving MatarHorn Trucks a rather comprehensive lineup of commercial products, joined by the Convoy, the new MRAP, the City Bus, and the Firetruck. Though, looking at the emblem on the front of the cabovers in the original WD, they were also MatarHorn Trucks products, meaning the company must have offered two cab designs to give customers a choice. Maybe when developing the game (remember, during the game's development, Ubisoft Montreal made frequent trips to California, so I'm sure they picked up something on what sorts of vehicles are and aren't popular in the area in real life), they may have found cabover vehicles to be less popular in the Bay Area and decided on a completely conventional styled fleet of trucks in the sequel? Might also explain the introduction of the Landrock Motors Cube Truck.
It may have the scorpion on the hood and sides, but this looks more like a regular Fiat 500 than an Abarth.
Looks more like a Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe than an HR-V.
It does look a lot closer to the Sherpa, maybe with a couple hints of the Oshkosh L-ATV located at the top of that list in your link (mainly in the headlights and windows).
I made a slight error on the name, it's Molto Bene, not Motto Bene. Just fixed it.
Unlike the police variant of the Cavale, the police version of the Talos is simply referred to as a Brubeck Engines Talos, though classified as a Police Vehicle instead of as a Standard Vehicle, like the normal Talos.
If it's a Kadett, it would be a Kadett [C] (1973-79). If it's an Escort, it would be a Mk II (1974-81). It could be one or the other, but honestly, I'm leaning towards the Kadett. Though, honestly, the front grille and side markers remind me more of a Holden Torana [LH].
Interestingly, if you summon a Valiance CE through Car on Demand, it may randomly spawn the taxi version instead of the standard one. This likely indicates that the taxi isn't counted as a separate model from the normal Valiance CE, but rather the same as a liveried version of a standard vehicle, like the numerous liveried versions of the Landrock Van 2500, for example. It also means that you can get a Valiance CE taxi with the paint job of your choice. I'm willing to bet the game would do the same with the Vessel, Crosscountry Series, and Cavale. Edit: Cavale taxi confirmed to be available the same way. -- Last edit: 2016-12-31 02:28:09 |
