Chevrolet Venture Burnout Paradise (2008) | CA_NES wrote I don't think that cc88 is 'Venture happy' I just think cc88 is trying to make this database as accurate as possible. In the case of Burnout 2 especially, I agree with the theory completely. It is likely a Venture in other games by the same publisher as well. Yes I realized that I agreed above that it was a VW. Thanks. It's really all in the logic. If people assume a car in a game looks like a car that didn't come out until years later, where's the logic in that? The Venture appears to be the closest logical match for this car. That's just what it appears to be to me.
Chevrolet Venture Burnout Revenge (2005) | Chevrolet Venture en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Venture Mentioned a 4th time, as this body has been used in nearly every Burnout game since B2, which was out half a decade before the Golf Variant/Jetta SportWagen.
Honda NSX Burnout 3: Takedown (2004) | Pedro_TypeR wrote This is a 2002 Honda NSX [NA2]! Agreed. Man, that thing was flimsy. If you crashed it hard enough, the passenger compartment would crumple more than a Brilliance BS6.

Chevrolet Venture Burnout Paradise (2008) | Here's where I don't get how this works... This traffic vehicle's body style has been existant since Burnout 2 (2002), which predates the MkV Jetta by 3 years, and predating the wagon by an additional 2 years. So, in that logic, this vehicle couldn't be a MkV Jetta Wagon, as this vehicle has been used by Criterion since '02. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Golf_Variant#Golf_Mk5_Variant_.282007.E2.80.93present.29 So, in response, my suggestion for all Burnout/NFS Undercover traffic vehicles with this body be renamed to an era appropriate vehicle. What vehicle? Chevrolet Venture en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Venture -- Last edit: 2011-04-06 02:01:36

Carbon Motors E7 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) | CarlsonsRaiders wrote Essentially, a purpose built police cruiser, that's economical, sporty, durable, and well armed to take down crooks and defend the peace. Sounds pretty badass to me! Indeed it is. With a rear-end crash protection rating of 75 mph, reverse-hinged rear doors, with no interior handles, or openable windows, and a powerful, yet fuel-saving BMW diesel, this cop car, to be built in Indiana, and made exclusively for law-enforcement, I'd say it is.

Hot Wheels Muscle Tone Hot Wheels: Velocity X (2002) | By the looks of it to me, this 2000 Eric Tscherne creation appears to be a modern interpretation of the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T or Chevrolet Camaro. (similar to Overbored 454 being a modern interpretation of the 69-70 Chevelle SS 454). hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/Muscle_Tone -- Last edit: 2011-01-24 03:17:29
Hot Wheels Overbored 454 Hot Wheels: Velocity X (2002) | Overbored 454 was inspired by the 1969-70 Chevelle SS 454 (hence the name, and it's stripes). Basically, it's a modern interpretation of the classis 454, designed by Phil Riehlman in 2002. hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/Overbored_454

RAM 1500 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) | Ok, I believe it's time to clear up the confusion. In 2009, the Dodge Ram was re-designed this way, then renamed the Ram 1500, in 2010. In NFS: Hot Pursuit, the traffic Ram still reads "Dodge" on the Ram head badge on the tailgate. I will try to get a picture of the badge soon, unless someone else wants to offer to do it for me, then post it here for all to see. This model, with this information, should accurately be named "2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab". Also supporting this, is the lack of "1500" badgine next to "RAM" on the front doors of the truck. I hope this clears up any confusion on this vehicle. -- Last edit: 2011-01-24 02:16:55 |
