Ford GT Driver: San Francisco (2011) | matt__jon wrote SWEET!!! Good to finally see a steady release of pics and info! So nice! And I don't care what anyone says, I still call it a GT40. GT is too short Yeah, I don't blame ya. They were going to be called 'GT40', but here's the reason why they weren't: A British company, Safir Engineering, who built continuation GT40s in the 1980s, owned the "GT40" trademark at that time. When they completed production, they sold the excess parts, tooling, design, and trademark to a small Ohio company called Safir GT40 Spares. This company licensed the use of the "GT40" trademark to Ford for the initial 2002 show car. When Ford decided to make the production vehicle, negotiations between the two firms failed. The production cars do not wear the GT40 badge.
Chevrolet Chevelle Driver: San Francisco (2011) | Absolutely gorgeous. When I get the game after it comes out, I'm gonna look for a red one with black stripes. It's my favorite.
Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Car Town (2010) | I know all of the cars in this game are 'chubby', but this one looks even more so than anything else in the game! I love it!

Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Driver: San Francisco (2011) | baldwinvette77 wrote yes, but the badge on the car looks too long to just be "RS" True, even with the Chevrolet logo, the badge probably isn't long enough.
Dodge Ram NASCAR NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona (2002) | Not a Dakota, it's a Ram (Note the headlights).
Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Driver: San Francisco (2011) | baldwinvette77 wrote looks to have a badge on the right side of the bumper, maybe iroc z? could be z/28 though Wasn't the RS also the same way?

Chevrolet Camaro L.A. Rush (2005) | Looks like a modernized Continental.
Honda J-VX L.A. Rush (2005) | Awkwardly, it acutally looks more like the Hyundai Veloster concept, but this came out before the concept was revealed, so it couldn't be...

Mazda Mazdaspeed 3 Forza Motorsport 3 (2009) | Antti-san wrote I personally don't like this fat ass grin that Mazdas and Peugeots have nowadays at all... Not sure if the Mazdaspeed 3 will get it, but they did tone it down a little on the 3 for 2012. www.netcarshow.com/mazda/2012-3/ If there's any version of the new Mazda grille I like, it's on either the MX-5, or the CX-7/9.

Dodge Magnum Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition (2005) | ShantJ wrote SRT-8? No, it's actually an R/T version, I believe. The SRT-8 was advertised on a billboard in Detroit, though.
Saleen SR Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition (2005) | Before playing MC3, I had never actually heard of this car before. Edit: Well, the street version, that is. -- Last edit: 2011-05-11 03:42:32
Chevrolet Impala Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition (2005) | You know what's fun to do with this car? Use Agro to cause a wreck, and then block traffic lanes like you actually responded to the scene!
Hummer H2 Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition (2005) | Probably the only time I've ever enjoyed driving a licensed Hummer in a video game (I honestly despise most non-military Hummer models, other than the H3T, which was well competitive with most full-size trucks). Awesome battering ram when used with Agro. Also, was advertised on a billboard in Atlanta. -- Last edit: 2011-05-11 03:50:30
Nissan Sport Concept Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition (2005) | It is a blast to drive. Hard to believe this car led to the Tiida/Versa.

Chevrolet C-10 Driver: San Francisco (2011) | eatmydust915 wrote Can it tow cars because if it dose that would be awesome but if t can't that's fine to Yeah, there was one video (it's posted on this site somewhere) that showed one, during gameplay, towing a white Dodge Grand Caravan. So, yes, I'm assuming they can tow, but probably only if a car is already attatched (we'll all find out when the game comes out).
Acura NSX Gran Turismo 5 (2010) | TakuFD3S wrote sexy NSX. And yes Senna helped Honda to design it. Not only Senna who involved in the development of NSX. Japanese racer,Satoru Nakajima tested it in Suzuka Circuit. ...and, Bobby Rahal helped with the suspension, as the lead engineer,Shigeru Uehara, and his team fine tuned the suspension based on Rahal's feedback.

Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Driver: San Francisco (2011) | Max.Thunder wrote I have good news for you,Eleanor is confirmed! Source There's one thing, though...the car in Gone In 60 Seconds was a GT500, not a Mach 1... But, there's already a GT500 in the game, so it doesn't matter. -- Last edit: 2011-05-08 15:43:36

Mercedes-Benz Viano Crackdown (2007) | SizSkiizd wrote I think it's a Viano, notice the doorhandles and the bumper (the bumper might be a modification however). Agreed. The Vito typically has black, plastic bumpers, right?

Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG Test Drive Unlimited 2 (2011) | Antti-san wrote I would have preferred the G-Class instead. They could still put the G55 AMG in as DLC...if they ever get around to releasing any (not including any of the now released pre-order cars, of course), that is...
Ford GT Need for Speed: World (2010) | 63FairlaneJoe wrote There is no 04 PRODUCTION car, just 05-07 Actually, 05-06, there were none built in 2007, the ones that were sold in 2007 (231 of them) were remaining'06 models, and maybe some '05 ones as well (as the remaining ones were either in storage or dealer inventory).

Porsche Pz.Kpfw. VIII 'Maus' War Front: Turning Point (2007) | J-2 wrote The next step is IGCD to produce "Lantzs: The Movie", starring Sasha Baron Cohen as "The Scott Lantzs", involving a plot where he ends the world on December 21, 2012, after invading the full interwebs, and shutting them off after all servers can´t stand such a disaster, and also, after claiming that cars are not real, he will finally force car companies to bankruptcy. On a last despered try, Chuck Norris will travel to Canada in order to search him and end the madness, but he´s not there, since he´s from Austria, but he think both flags are the same, so are the countries. LOL, if this was the American Autoblog.com, in a topic related to that, I would nominate that for Comment Of The Day! BTW... #COTDnomination
Cadillac XLR-V Driver: San Francisco (2011) | There is no 2010 XLR, the last one was a 2009 model, built on March 31 of that year. Plus, we can't determine what year yet, as we haven't seen the 'shift' vehicle data or even the front end yet (the 2009 models have a different front fascia than the 2004-08 models). -- Last edit: 2011-05-03 23:58:15

Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Driver: San Francisco (2011) | 63FairlaneJoe wrote Nah. it needs a certain yella 32 Ford *cough* Milner coupe from american graffiti *cough* Not sure if it's the same thing, but throw in the car from the cover of ZZ Top's "Eliminator" album, and I'll be satisfied (and a Chevrolet Colorado/GMC Canyon).
Dodge Grand Caravan Driver: San Francisco (2011) | SLRMC93 wrote Now my "cash cab at 185 mph" idea can come to life! Depending on if it can even go that fast...which I'm very sure it can't. I'd stick with 150...downhill...realistically.
Alfa Romeo Spider Driver: San Francisco (2011) | Yes, it's a Duetto Spider 1600. This needs to be changed.
Dodge Neon Driver: San Francisco (2011) | Considering the engine, the spoiler and the body, I'm changing my decision to Dodge Neon Sport. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_Neon#2000.E2.80.932005
Ford F-350 Driver: San Francisco (2011) | stryder237 wrote Why did you replace the pic, there was no point. This one gives a better view of the truck (in the other one, it was just to the side).
Lincoln Town Car Driver: San Francisco (2011) | If you pay close enough attention to the GameTrailers video (posted on the main Driver: San Francisco page), there's a point where it's in Shift, and the car that the indicator (or whatever it's called) is on shows the Town Car. I believe it said Year: 2007, but I'm not sure.
Lincoln Zephyr Driver: San Francisco (2011) | Star Wars Fanatic wrote If this is the same car, the rear looks like a Taurus: But the car is unlicensed. Odd given their emphasis on licensed cars in the game, but it could well just appear in the cut scene. Yeah. Could be a cutscene car, but it definitely looks like a Taurus. Wait! There's (possibly) a regular Taurus, so maybe it's a cutscene replacement for a Taurus Police car! But...well, the Neon in the same video wasn't replaced, nor the Challenger...strange... |
