I see where greaser is coming from but the sprite pre-dates the R8 by a bit.

Fun fact o.o Sprite originally made 20 02 2002, the date that's the same in both directions. and the fact I'm old enough to remember, scary.

Damn I'm late, if I saw this comment earlier I would have done it, seems fun, would be nice to have the base colors too (that the models most likely were)

I get what you mean, but the mothership Camper in game is not a different vehicle, in the games internal files there is no mothership, just the normal Camper. Look at the Berkley rc van for example, yes it just looks like a pony with RC advertisements on the side, but the thing is, that van is a completely different vehicle from the normal pony in-game, it has its own handling code and vehicle code. So in theory the mothership shouldn't have a page because it has no ther distinctions to make it a completely different vehicle(even the name "mothership" does not show up when you enter the vehicle, instead camper shows up, the name mothership is just a nickname given by the in game owner character of the vehicle "The Truth".

I know it's the same car, I know it works the same as the paintjobs, Still don't change that this site will forever be inconsistant, and the way things work will seemingly be made up on the fly, Kinda why I explained that some cars like this get accepted while other ones that actually are different models get rejected. its almost.. random.

The argument for what should and should not be added is a pretty long one, Different skins are aloud, different models that look the same get rejected, And then there is The Getaway pages. where a car is the same but is used by a gang therefore seprate entry.

What would be really nice is to have a sub catogory, like Click on a car and see more screenshots of variants, such as This, and the regular camper. trucks that come with different loads, or such things.

Carmageddon II: Carpocalypse Now (1998)
Just a note to anybody looking:
Added some Cut cars to the page, but these were all intended to be used as Drones, traffic cars. they are very different in style to the ones that ended up in game, and in some cases are recycled Carmageddon1 models. They are in the files, can be set to spawn, but are unused in the final game, And look unfinished.

Just a little thing here, Did you know that the headlight textures are broken? It is set to use a much smaller texture than what is in the files.
Here is how it would look with restored front textures, that are in the files but unused:

Just posting this mostly for fun, also could help.
But the game has lots of unused sprites of the bikes doing wheelies, and leaning. as anybody who has played knows, only two frames are used, Top and Side, and for some reason the different topdown one on superbike.

I think people overdo wish lists now. I like it when people add one or two things they really like.

When your wish list is 99 cars long saying most of them are Not supercars kind of looses its point, Also just one more car and you could have had a round 100. odd.

I still find this thing about people getting angry if a game has a car they don't like fascinating. Reminds me of GTAV pre release times.

I don't even like Chinese cars but this is still more interesting than yet another Porsche that looks like the other porches.

And for anybody who is interested a kind of toy database so far. tho its real slow going. gathering the best top down images I can too.

The biggest struggle so far is the firetruck. can't seem to find a long nose truck like that, that was around in the 90s in toy form. I thought it was the hotwheels one but that only came out recently. strange how they are making modern toys in 90s trucks cars vans etc all of a sudden
