I think you're giving it more thought that the devs. I believe that they're gonna repeat the car lore of Mafia 3 where the brands are completely meaningless and random. Mafia: Definitive Edition (2020) | So, if the bonuses in Mafia II and III are anything to go by, the taxi is now a Shubert Six, the limo is called "Smith V12" (even though Smith is a brand from II that's supposed to be Ford, while Ford in I is Bolt), cars don't have suicide doors anymore, etc. Looks like they're repeating the completely random vehicle branding from III. I have a bad feeling about this.... |
