I mean, the model itself doesn't look too bad from a bodystyle standpoint. The greenhouse area and overall body is pretty much spot on for the FL Civic. It's the front and back that seems to be the difficult part to model. Maybe they should model these future AI cars in Maya instead of Blender.

I get SCS wants to modernize the traffic variety, but altering the front and rear fascias feels like the devs don't want to be sued for copyright infrigement. Except that logic is totally flawed considering their entire roster did have vehicles that mirror the real model, which they are not remodeling. And two, these models do not take any visual damage, so that risk-averse logic is clearly adamant in knowing SCS is making good-looking models like the Civic uglier out of spite. And this has to stop. For Christ's sake, they modeled a Zastava 101 that looks exactly like the real damn model!

And who even asked for a Civic? I mean yeah, we do need a lot of modern cars, since they are way behind and the community doesn't know them well, but I did, and I educated them. Apparently the whole real-over-fake medium seems to have been disrupted in magnitude, likely because I am convinced this was generated by a crappy AI modeling application. Still don't get why the model just feels so off... and it reminds me of those 2013-era GTA V models which were terribly modeled.

I've been poundering for SCS to model new AI vehicles that look exactly like the real model, and apparently they didn't read the memo... :/

It says "update" so I assume this is free for everyone, at least.

This would've rang true if the model wasn't a copy-and-paste port from FM7 with no change whatsoever. As mentioned in my other comment (which you gotta search manually) the car was clearly removed to pad out FM23 longer than it needs to be. This is precisely the reason why I hate live service AAA games with a passion, and T10 desperately needs to make significant changes to justify a $70 game or on Gamepass.

This game is full of problems, and removing/canceling cars from FM7/FH5 is only one such example. There's other issues like glitches, crashes, and the Metacritic AI review manipulation.

We know for a damn fact this game is worse than its predecessor in so many ways, and it's going to take a lot to convince me otherwise. T10 doesn't care about us or our fans. All they care about is money and are the masters of deceit and PR, and it is a goddamn shame how far they have embarrased themselves. It's Rockstar level of bad.

American Truck Simulator (2016)
@Antti-san Thanks for the tip. I'll check that out when I got time, and if you want, can I chime in on a particularly bad flaw with ATS and my take on that particular issue? If so, here it goes.

First of all, I do love ATS. I do love how SCS recreates each state with their character and personality, and I applaud it with each new one in development (hence why I wishlist each state when they're made on Steam). After all, damn, the Czechs have done an admirable job with ETS2 as well, and I play it extensively, despite the fact that said game has a map expansion they won't release due to... well you get the picture. But while I do love ATS in plenty of ways, it's not without its flaws.

Thing is, it's not performance, or even the world itself (and that is a gimme considering parts of the world map are old), but my biggest criticism with the game is one particular asset, one particular car model that seriously reeks of forbidden fruit. A minivan (which is not really a minivan but rather a MPV with swing-out doors) that is not available in the U.S. and you cannot legally drive in the country due to the 25-year rule.

The answer, of course, is the dreadful Ford S-Max model: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=147725

This model was added in the 1.3 update that featured Arizona, and it was clearly not thought out well. The S-Max was not sold in the U.S. and while this did make it to ETS2 (which is better since the S-Max is available there), this asset is still occupying American roads in ATS. No one asked for the S-Max to be in ATS. No one, yet somebody decided to put it in the game, by themselves, and almost 8 years later, the car is still in the game, made worse that there's now a scenery prop of this horrible vehicle.

I've been crusading to get rid of this model for quite some time, and I'm sure someone else did years ago. Yet despite my endless nitpicking, it's still not removed. No effort has been made to remove it and it's still widespread. I've provided constructive criticism about why the S-Max needed to go and have an actual minivan sold in the U.S. in its place and so far, nothing's been done (not that it would matter anyway).

Look, I know SCS aren't car guys and trust us - they don't have the knowledge of most American vehicles (understandable as they are from the Czech Republic and that isn't a fault in itself). That's why I, TruCrime, stepped in and wanted to bring in change to new AI vehicles. I'd love to see more variety in the vehicle department, and the new RVs that they're coming to ATS soon should satisfy that appetite. Sadly, it takes a lot more than that. Why else do you think I've been throwing down vehicle suggestions every week on Steam? Because I'd like to educate the devs on new vehicles they've never known (as I've said before SCS aren't car buffs and they know little about American traffic types in a trucking sim) and to implement them to the game, and knowledge is good. By providing a detailed description of each car, including brand new models, it'll help add in variety, and it's always a pleasant surprise to bring new AI vehicles for fun (albeit they have to resemble the real car, not some deformity). Of course there are limits to that variety (no limited-production supercars or hypercars due to low production numbers) that I have to understand.

Of course, I do understand that it does take time. Modeling a large truck to drive for the player takes months, if not a year, because they have to not only get approval from the manufacturer, but they have to utilize a lot of factors, such as physics, sound, interior modeling, and tons of reference photos. As for the simple 3D moving asset like a car, it can take about a week or two to model it (just browse around photos and stuff like that) and weeks to process it into the game world.

That's just my $0.02. Of course that is just my opinion but I'm sure there are others.

It was clearly removed just to pad the game's life further.

Just wondering, what DLC/state is this from?

Oh, about that? I should've replied beforehand, but here goes. In Lincoln, Nebraska, there's a Kawasaki railcar plant there and they manufacture subway EMUs specifically for cities like New York City. The model shown here in the WIP photo is pretty much the R134 shown here, and is a new prefab in ATS.

For the analogue, it's known as Outrider, and will join the RV industry as new industries in the Nebraska DLC (That's the upcoming map expansion if that's what you are asking about Antti-san)

Hope this clears up anything, and I will replace the placeholders when the DLC drops. Course, it will be busy for me because California is heavily reworked starting in 1.50. You can play the experimental beta right now.

Audi A3 Sedan

Euro Truck Simulator 2 (2012)
So if anyone's saw this before: It's one of those contemporary Audi sedans people have been asking for in ETS2, mostly out of spite. I want to say it's an 2021-present A3 Sedan or the current A4, but unless if this car gets added in the nearest update, we'll see if these match.

If you're not wary of the vehicle it was spotted in early development renders on the 2023 Christmas Stream, on the "others" entry. And I've given it a slight mention of it before.

I'll be the judge of it and say this is a worthy addition, and thank god it is not another one of those horrifying AI-generated abominations we've gotten lately with SCS' traffic wares.
Mercedes-Benz Actros

Euro Truck Simulator 2 (2012)
I'm not sure the 4th-gen Actros' chassis code should be Mp4.

According to IMCDb all fourth-gen MB Actros models are listed under the SFTP chassis code. Hell, even during the recent Christmas stream the CEO mentioned that MB stopped using the Mp code and renamed it to "New Actros".

In short, should all 4th-generation Actros models on this site use the SFTP code? Especially considering the Actros V is planned at some point.

The Crew (2014)
I salute you to this entry's completion. Too bad this game is going dark in a couple of days... RIP The Crew.

You know, The Crew may have a bland story, but at least it had some progression to boot. This game was tarnished by an online-only DRM service which carried over to the sequel and its Motorfest entry. This is why DRM is not a sustainable way to play games, since it literally makes games unplayable after their shutdown date.

It's a shame about the old version's cars. I really wished someone would post the old version's traffic cars before the Wild Run update, but it's far too late.

Not gonna lie, but this is by far the worst addition to the car pass. It has the same customization options as the older 86/BRZ twins, and is not worth the 30 dollars the carpass is charging (either that or a couple US dollars). The vehicle is essentially a glorified facelift with TRD graphics and badging.

Utterly pointless addition imo.

Are you serious, mate? Do you really have to be this condescending to a moderator? Silnev has told you that mods are not allowed, and the gray area of paid mods that Microsoft themselves allow (especially on the Xbox Series consoles) is still considered mods. He does not have a copy of FS2020, and I'm not even sure his computer can even run the game.

The reason mods aren't allowed is simple as it is. They are not created by the developers. If the model does not match the design, don't add it to IGCD, no matter how "rare" it is.

I would heed the mods' advice to that heart because one of these days your account will be banned, just like the last 2 you were on. The least you can do is help out on identifying the planes.

As for whoever will contribute to the entry, well, I'm out. I deleted the game off my PC because it took forever to load, and the game size is far too big to accompany any space. So I'll leave to whoever is contributing the game using in-game sources. No one has the time or money to shell out over $20K worth of mods just to be deleted.

Generalrusty, I don't get what your comment was trying to convey. People didn't have a meltdown about the game just because the iconic characters never returned, but rather that this looks, feels and plays like an inferior replica of past Saints Row games. As Silnev mentioned the game was pretty bad, even those on Metacritic say so.

The major issues of the game were nearly everything else about the game. The game was busted at launch, and as mcthieve said before, still has poor optimization regardless of console or PC. And because the devs are totally dead (actually, they've rebranded as Shapeshifter Games iirc), this will never be fixed. Gunplay, gameplay, side missions and the general vibe of the game is so broken at design level. The sorry excuse of a Yelp knockoff activity and inferior versions of what used to be fun activites also don't help its case, nor should its overzealous Hobbs & Shaw physics and the hackneyed writing of its poorly-made character replacements. Should I remind you about the ridiculous PR publicity stunt on what used to be Twitter?

Saints Row '22 was just trapped from games past, rather than needing to evolve. This is why it suffered as it is, and it will never be fixed anymore.

Gangs of London (2006)
The game that essentially killed The Getaway franchise. From what I know the game had some good ideas going for it and even had some interesting activities, but apart from that, it really feels like a shoddier, inferior version of the Getaway entries of old. You can't explore London freely as you used to compared to the previous two entries - even though the stories in those games are linear and very well-thought out - and there are notable flaws, such as braindead henchmen AI, broken collision and camera issues, and the worst stealth missions known to mankind.

Put simply it wasn't how it turned out, especially given the fact that it was exclusive to the PSP. There were plans for another Getaway entry but that too got killed around 2008.
Bombardier Double-deck Coach

Euro Truck Simulator 2 (2012)
Not that I know of, since I have little knowledge of German trains, but clearly SCS just added a duplicate carriage operator on both ends. Which would hardly qualify as a real locomotive in its own but it can't just move without some kind of propulsion (especially so considering it has an electric train motor sound file). Gray area locomotives like the cable car seem outrageous.

Looks like this one will have to be clamped. A painful shame since I spent quite some time looking for it.
