Some guy has a Volvo S60 that he molested, he put rims that are way too big for the car, illegally tinted the back windows, put a shitload of stickers, and worst of all, he straight piped the damn thing. He also tried to sell it, it was a 2001 model in the rare Maya Gold color, had 270,000 kilometers on it (168,750 miles), and tried to sell it for $5800. Another guy has a 1996 Integra which he bought pre riced with recaro seats, a fart can, low suspension (which he chassis grinds on the speed bumps), Honda badges, and after market rims. I walked by it one day and it was an automatic, had wood trim, and had Greddy stickers inside, what a ricer. I, and a couple of other people at my school, are the only people who don't rice their cars and keep them stock. There are some times that ricers in Manila are half common (sometimes) and half rare. Here students who own cars actually own 2nd hand cars (sometimes) or new. So if you visit universities in here like the Univesity of the Philippines or Far Eastern University, you can see a stock Honda Civics, Toyota RAV4s, Toyota Corollas, Camrys, Mazda 3s, Ford Focus, Ford Escape, Honda CRVs, Ford Fiestas, Lancers, Fit/Jazz, Swift, Volvo 850, Hyundai Accent, Elantra, Toyota Vios, Nissan Sentra, Toyota Corona, Nissan X-Trail, Mazda 323, Mitsubishi Galant ,Chevrolet Optras, Opel Astras, Honda City, Kia Rio and so on. Sometimes, rich students own a Toyota 86 or a Hyundai Genesis Coupe. You can also find old cars like the Isuzu Gemini, Toyota Corona, Ford Escort or the Box type Mitsubishi Lancer. actually, some students rice their cars but in general students keep them stock. Flyers about the 2016 Prius is now placed on every Toyota Dealership in Manila.... I mean nationwide.... this could save environment here in the Philippines, because most cars in here uses diesel (because the diesel is cheap, and gas is expensive.... But not to much) that produces black smoke and can damage the Ozone Layer, this car could save the environment. While the Americans don't gonna like it, here they would like it (probably, they gonna hate it too) and I planning to own one (1st generation duh), but the 3rd gen is only available in here before the new Prius arrived, and it's a grey import, just like other cars from Japan that aren't sold here....
