Yeah I know, and that's stupid Back in they day, when you acquired licence for championship or single car, you always get full pack with all the sponsors included in the livery. Just look at GTR games (before idiots from Porsche and Ferrari asked for them to remove their cars from the games). Every single car had every sponsor present. Also look at GT Legends, there were no that BMW vs. Chinese guys who owns rights to the Austin and Mini name. Cars had Austin badges and Mini in their name. If I remember correctly it all started in 2008/2009 when Mercedes didn't want to give SimBin licence for C200 used in STCC because car was s*it, and "it will hurt Mercedes brand if the car was low placed in game races". And we get to this missing sponsors, missing SS badges, missing whole manufacturers because someone got offended. Well when the last good car manufacturers made was made 20 years ago, they are using everything they have to present their make as "great"... | |

You can't do that with 500 cars from Forza and GT. Also about that GT Academy and Forza RC, they are more or less PR stunts. Yes people who won got the opportunity to race with Nissan, but only Jann Mardenborough was stand out. Other's were stuck at middle of the lower tiers. You can't say Sony had great exclusives like Resistance, Gran Turismo, where their direct competitor was better (Halo, although recognize people tend to compare it to Killzone. Forza Motorsport and Horizon are also way better (overall) than any racing game in their respective markets. So I'm just saying you can't say and use the argument against X has 1.3DI Compact Exclusive and Y has the 2.0TDI-S Compact variant Exclusive, so both have their "exclusives" even if X has more Exclusives in the end. Yeah i know, but i was talking about whole Sony and Microsoft products. I know you can't compare Crackdown and Last of Us, but IMO Sony have better franchises then Microsoft (I am big Halo and Gears of War fan, so...) But you can compare racing games like NfS vs. Forza vs. GT vs. Sims. In last few years sim market is getting bigger and bigger, with real life drivers racing in sim championships. Most sim people look at GT and Forza as wannabe sims for kids that people only play to drive cars not present in other games, and yet we have stupid "who is better? Forza or GT" argument. IMO Microsoft should put their games on Steam, and continue their Windows 10/Xbox One cross-platform playing + some more great games and I think they can catch Sony, even beat them. | |
