Yes its interesting. In manual its called Humvee, but in game its just a 4WD vehicle.

In early screenshots and the game manual this is an exact copy of the HMMWV, for some reason in the final game it was changed to this which looks different than the real HMMWV.

Since Far Cry takes place in Micronesia, I would believe this is a Mitsubishi Type 95 Ha-Go. A lot of these WWII-era Japanese tanks can be found abandoned on the beaches like this one.
