What I mean is MANY don't know how to properly id cars...I've seen many times where a car is called 69 Charger because that's the only muscle car they know, or any 50's car is a 57 Chevy. And even when someone does id a car properly it takes forever for it to be renamed, if it ever does. Oh, okay. Sorry.

I probably will not dwell too long in this group. It will be some time, but I believe or just hope, that some of the same attention is given to detail in an effort to match the IMCDB user experience.

That means any 1961 Dodge or Plymouth (Dart, Polara, Fury, Savoy). I take a personal offense to naming this as a Buick by its front end only, while the artist was simply intending to recreate a generic General Motors front from the mid-1950s. I agree, but it'll fall on deaf ears. Trust me the longer you hang around this site the more frustrated and disappointed you will be. 2009-06-14 17:33 | The black window trim makes it to a 1991 to me. The 1991 and 1992 both had closed rear wheel wells, the only difference were the black/bodypainted pillars. Not sure about 1993, I know the open wheels make it look like one but the game is set in 1992 and changing the wheel wells was one way to change the model from a real 1991 caprice to a knockoff. Its always hard to decide the year if there are so many differences in the game model compared to the real cars. The same with the Premier, the LSPD and the SFPD cop car. And maybe something that could be interesting: theres still a model of the copcar with closed rear wheel wells in the cut scene game files. You cant find it ingame anymore but rockstar planned to use a more 1991 caprice like model before editing it to the current one.

2009-06-14 17:26 | I agree to Bonneville, even modeled one to replace the Sunrise. Its long hood, short trunk and weird placed rear wheel wells makes it a 1991 Bonneville to me. Its a typical american car, it fits into the time of San Andreas so id be very suprised if it isnt one. Heres a picture of it: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/47/90SSE.jpg You cant expect it to be identical but some design elements are way closer to the sunrise than those of a Intrigue or Saab 9000 <.<

2009-06-14 17:21 | Always thought its a Civic, its the typical well known ricer car, just like the Jester (Supra), the Elegy (Skyline), Sultan (Impreza), Uranus (Talon or Eclipse). It would fit there, not sure about the Nissan Pulsar, it looks more or less the same but the chance that rockstar has chosen this one instead of the Civic is pretty small. And its no Polo, it wouldnt fit into the game at all.
