it's not a Vanden Plas 1500, the Vanden Plas 1500 is just a fancy version of the Austin Allegro, which this car is not. It's NOT a Mazda 323 it's either a Austin Maestro or an MG Maestro

It is not a Tagora, definatly a Toyota Crown or a AMC/Renault Alliance, I vote to change it to an Alliance. The Tagora is more slab-sided and it has a more 'Hatch-Backy' look. Sorry Tagora lovers

Not to dredge up this long-running debate again, but i believe that it is a Tagora. If you even pay attention to the car's proportions, not to mention it's wheels, you would be able to tell the difference. For one thing, the wheelbase is much too long to resemble either the Renault 9 or 11. Both of those were compact cars, but this one is clearly a midsize vehicle. Just look at the side profile, the Tagora clearly matches the car depicted in terms of size:

First of all, the wheels do NOT match. Also the headlights are too big, and the hood and the trunk don't slope on the game car. Definitely, an AMC Alliance. Besides, we only have four AMC's :p

Is that what this is all about? Judging the model of the car by its wheels? Just look at the front of the taxi and the Alliance. It's the same exact thing.

Austin or Rover Maestro, there is not doubt about it. Its the most similar car. And i would say CitroŽn ZX, as these were the cars used by the French Police. It really looks like these two cars put together.
