NismoR35 photo_librarymode_comment 2012-08-18 03:37 | I remember way back when GTA IV came out, I saw this one mod that replaced most of the cars with all the traffic cars in this game, but it looked a bit odd since GTA had the realistic shine on the cars, and it was kinda like how someone modded the Kurama from GTA III into San Andreas. It had all the pics of the cars, but sadly, the mod was taken down about a year later.

2012-08-17 04:00 | You're right, plus, the SFX in MC3 are terrible compared to MC2, imo. Listen to the metal SFX of lightpoles falling down in MC2 and then listen to the MC3 ones. The horn this, the Explorer, the Odyssey and the Towncar limo have is awesome. Love how it sounds with the Doppler effect in effect. -- Last edit: 2012-08-17 04:17:38
NismoR35 photo_librarymode_comment 2012-08-17 03:55 | I find it funny that this, and I think the Explorer as well in MC3 has a large airhorn like of the bigger trucks than the normal horn this had.

2012-08-09 08:55 | Noticed that, pretty funny bug. Also, if you push along a traffic car at REALLY high speed, it'll vanish. BTW, Nismo, if you have the PC version of MC2, I can give you my traffic mod+cops in cruise mode mod+fixed va_garbagetruck_l/va_garbage_t.vehicle files, along with the crap necessary to run the game unpacked. -- Last edit: 2012-08-09 08:59:16
NismoR35 photo_librarymode_comment 2012-08-07 09:26 | Interesting note, when you flip a traffic car, most notably the large box truck in LA, the tire marks will still leave marks in the air.
NismoR35 photo_librarymode_comment 2012-08-07 09:21 | Is this the first time that a MC game featured a damaged model of a traffic car? MC3 incorporated it with all of the traffic cars but it wasn't very good, even though it threw out "damaged" parts from the car.
NismoR35 photo_librarymode_comment 2012-08-07 09:16 | Does this truck have an engine sound at all? In the PS2 version it seemed near silent. Or it's a glitch for the PS2 version only -- Last edit: 2012-08-07 09:17:01

NismoR35 photo_librarymode_comment 2012-07-29 04:33 | The wheels on this, and pretty much the majority of the traffic cars in the game, excluding the Tacoma which has the right wheels, and an exception, the Explorer, to me the wheel looks to be off of a '98-02 Accord, with the emblem removed and what looks like a Plus sign in place.
NismoR35 photo_librarymode_comment 2012-07-29 03:01 | This truck also seems to have a specialized track as well, since it rarely ventures onto the highway, and if it did, I remember it still traveling slowly as it did on the streets while the other cars sped up and passed by. Dunno about the other one in Tokyo though.
