Yes in Europe, also these cars did race in the GT2 championship back then, it was not untill a few years ago, that the GT2 cars became GT1 cars.

This can't be a C12-R since that was introduced in 2001 and this is a 1999 game. At this time, Callaway was racing the Callaway Corvette LM, which this bears a closer resemblance to.
