Carmageddon (1997)antp BE (26)Yes there are some very nice cars that could be added. I remember a Rover SD1 that was quite realistic, like those that you posted.
But it would maybe be better to put these screenshots on the Carmageddon II page... (that I will complete very soon)

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004)
G-MANN UK (51)No, it's not a Citroen CX or XM, they are hatchbacks, not sedans.

Wikipedia says it resembles a cross between a 1990-94 Subaru Legacy and a 1985-1994 Ford Scorpio/Granada. Though to me it looks nothing like the Granada at all.

Carmageddon (1997)qwerty_86I've never played the original Carmageddon, but I love Carmageddon 2. I don't like the default cars, but the crash engine was the best I've ever seen so I'd load it with user made cars such as Chevettes, Tempos, Cavaliers, Caravans, Caprices, Taurus, LTDs, LeSabres, Delta 88s, etc. and go to town with destruction. :D

Battlefield 2 (2005)Star Wars Fanatic EN (487)Now very close to completion, apart from all but one seemingly inaccessible vehicle. This is the sequel to the successful war game, Battlefield 1942, only this time set in modern times. Recently a further sequel has been released to this, as Battlefield 2142, set 200 years after the original.

Carmageddon (1997)antp BE (26)It is really fun to play. The car was not so easy to handle though. For that Carmageddon II is, IMHO, still a reference (and also for the way car get damaged in a nice/realistic way, I never saw that in another game...)
But the concept of the game, the size of the maps (you can drive freely in a large city) and lots of small other details make this game one of my favourites.

One big advantage of the car is that it has a kind of electric ray to blast pedestrian (which is an easier way to get credits & extra time than having to hit the pedestrians with the car), but the downside is that the car is so low that you cannot easily go on sidewalk (that may explain why the car has this electric ray, btw).

Pursuit Force (2005)Star Wars Fanatic EN (487)Impressive PSP police game, which was the first to give you the movie like ability to leap from vehicle to vehicle. Whilst a technically impressive game (stunning graphics and gameplay for PSP) it did suffer a little in my opinion from poor vehicle handling and a completely ludicrous difficulty throughout. Needless to say, the American version, which was released later in 2006, had improved features and was apparentlly much less challenging... 2006-10-08 15:08

Gangs of London (2006)Star Wars Fanatic EN (487)A spinoff of The Getaway, this PSP exclusive game was developed by the same developers, but the game seemed to have turned out not quite as good according to ratings. It's similar to The Getaway in setting (London for a third time), but instead you control whole gangs and for some reason there is an apparent abscence of licesened cars or buildings :( I understand it is for the PSP, but I don't think it was necessary to wipe out one of my personal appeals of the series - even the windows aren't transparent.
