SizSkiizd photo_librarymode_comment 2011-03-19 15:29 | Yeah, I see what you mean, but why can't they say it the other way (yon)? That way they'd avoid this completely. Besides, the shi death kanji is way different from the shi four kanji, despite having the same pronounciation.
BeanBandit photo_librarymode_comment 2011-03-19 13:56 | SizSkiizd a écrit There's something I do not quite follow here, there's the Prius I, II, III (not IV) and V. What's the matter with IV, unlucky number perhaps? That is exactly, what it is, number four = shi = DEATH in Japanese.
SizSkiizd photo_librarymode_comment 2011-03-19 13:05 | The designers obviously did not take time to check the correct model year. This is NOT a 1970. The 1970+ models had flat hubcaps and square indicators. This is a 1962-66 model, higher mounted headlights and round hubcaps.
SizSkiizd photo_librarymode_comment 2011-03-19 12:58 | Any reason why it's listed as made for USA? Because I don't see any reason why it should. First off, look at the wipers, they're the other way round which means this car is RHD. Secondly, the US-spec RX-3s had bigger bumpers. But it doesn't have the typical fender-mounted mirrors of Japanese Savannas, so strike that. This means the in-game car is modelled after an Australian, NZ, HK, GB or some other spec that has RHD. Anyway, back to my point, remove made for USA, please.

Or maybe some ppl down at Toyota don't know how to count. Anyway, I feel there should be a Prius I in the game to complete the family, you know what I mean?
SizSkiizd photo_librarymode_comment 2011-03-19 12:44 | Interesting, they put an original JDM one in the game, see the mirrors and the wipers. I prefer the Coupé over the Liftback for some reason though.

2011-03-19 11:32 | Car town just released a Ambulance you buy with Blue points to help Japan! from their page: "We’re proud to announce the New Red Cross Ambulance! 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross to help the recovery efforts for victims of the recent natural disasters in Japan. The Ambulance also features an instant-collect job that donates each time you start it!" The Ambulance costs 19 blue points, which is roughly $1.90 USD so one ambulance doesn't help much so the thinking must be to have it cheap enough where many can afford it. Smart. The job you can do costs 5 Blue points, roughly half a dollar USD, and the job gives 350 xp and 3,500 coins. And it is instant! You can race it both in street races and friendly race it, but other than that you can only take a picture of it or sell it for 660 gold coins. You cannot customize it in anyway, also in game view it has a window on the side, which blocks the Red Cross logo. Which is weird, but atleast there is still a logo on the back.
