badlymad CA (5)Still, "Sunrise" can also be linked to "Lumina", since lumina also conjures up images of light (e.g luminescent). I don't really feel the car is japanese at all, since its body shape is distinctly similar to cars built on the GM10 platform. Indeed, it looks more like one of those American attempts to sportify their basic sedans with better engines and exterior cladding, kind of like the Ford Taurus SHO or the Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 2006-11-01 22:25

Alarm Für Cobra 11: Nitro (2007)Star Wars Fanatic EN (494)Rather exciting looking new game set for release this month, which judging from the trailer has a keen emphasis on crashes. Based on the ever popular German series I know and love, the game is set on German autobahns with an array of over the top crashes and stunts, just as the series depicts. This is the fourth in the series of games, with previous installments apparently not living up to their hype, though this seems rather more promising.

Visit the official website www.cobra11-nitro.de/ for a trailer and playable demo, providing you can get the demo to run :(

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004)G-MANN UK (51)I've been playing it since July, some weeks I spent a lot of time on it, then I had breaks, so my playing time's been spread out over 3 months. This is a much more time consuming game than GTA3 and Vice City, recently I replayed the Vice City story missions up to point where you can buy assets and I finished the 3 Kaufman Cabs missions and the vehicle lists at the Sunshine Autos, this was to unlock all the cars so I could take images for this site, and it only took me about 3 hours, and that's a big chunk of the game. Although this time I was just going straight through the missions, there was no exploring or having fun with things (playing it again was fun, though) like you do when you first get a game, I didn't even bother watching the cutscenes. But I just find it hard to believe how long it's taken, and that playing time on the stats doesn't include all the messing about and reloads whenever I failed a mission. Vice City only took a few weeks to do the main storyline and submissions (like the Haitian and Cuban gang missions). I think by the time I'd fully completed Vice City I'd spent between 25-30 hours on it. I never completed GTA3 100% but then you don't get any reward for doing that, so in the end I couldn't be bothered, although I completed at least 90% of it.

Do you know how many hours you notched up on the stats for San Andreas, Explorer?

G-MANN wrote This brings to mind some Toyota or Nissan that's been modded up, boy-racer style, ending up looking a bit ugly. The name Sunrise might mean it's based on a Japanese make (Sunrise = Rising Sun = Japan).

I kind of agree. It looks to me like a Toyota, Corolla or Camry, that has been modified. I like this car, because it seems to have good traction and its got AWD (I think). You can tell if a car is All Wheel Drive by how it handles, and when you take off what wheels spin (front wheels might spin, or rear wheels, or there is hardly any wheel slip with this one, and both tires seem to pull forward). You can also further modify it at Trans Fender.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004)G-MANN UK (51)Just out of interest how long did it take everyone to complete the game to 100%? I'm at about 95%, I just have the Ambulance, Firefighter and Taxi sub-missions and the last few story missions to do (the next one is where I pick Sweet up from prison), and it's taken me about 85 hours. This game has taken nearly 3 times as long to play as Vice City, am I slow?

qwerty_86The early T-Birds were a rip-off of the Corvette. When Ford decided to turn it into a personal luxury vehicle in the early '60s, then that's where the similarities ended. Actually at the same time the T-Bird went the other way, Ford needed a vehicle to compete with the Corvette so they designed the Mustang. The initial designs of the Mustang was just a two-seater. Lee Iacocca thought they would sell more if they added a back seat so the Mustang because a pony car. 2006-10-30 00:45

Car & Driver (1992)antp BE (26)That's early 90s 3D graphics... Most of the games of that era look similar. Do not forget that this is "rendered" 3D, and not hand-draw 2D.
But for a 1992 game this one does not seem to look so good.
