The rear looks a lot like the Ford LTD Crown Victoria.

I think the game is set in 70s-early 80s, so I think this is a Mercedes W116 or a Rolls Royce.

I mean it's clearly a mashup of various Mercedes models. I personally think it's a W126

Oh and 3DSmax shot is still here...

But second gen Toyota Century does look like it a little.I was also thinking about Rolls Royce.

Not sure of the rest of it, but for some reason, the front end reminds me of a first generation Toyota Century (anywhere between 1967 and 1997).

What!? A Toyota Century first gen? Doesn't look like it,

Or maybe second gen? Does look like it a little bit.

:wow: Holy crap! That's 30 years the first gen Toyota Century lasted. And I thought the C3 Corvette lasted a long time... just sayin!

Then someone will say "We identified this car 5 years ago through a front pic which normally shouldn't be available."
You are severely exaggerating what could be a possible situation.

Like after 5 years someone will arrive and say << this is not *insert car name*, it's a *insert another carname* >> and we'll have no pics because comments pics won't last

A week or 5 years, it will disappear sooner or later

Discussions about identifications and future re-identifications here on IGCD are a regular thing, don't you know that?

US IGPD

2016-09-01 20:53
But what use is the picture after the car has been identified? Does it really matter?

Well it's not like there's HUNDEREDS of comments for it to get lost in! I really don't see your statement being true. :/

Image uploading websites often erase old uploaded pics over time. If the pic stays as a provided entry, it will never get lost unless IGCD will go offline one day.

Just edit the 4th comment from the top to feature this picture and remove it from the alternative view. Everyone with the slightest bit of competence should be able to find it there.
I will also add a rule to prevent this kind of conflict from happening again.

Better loosing it and being unable to re-identifying it in future if needed, so?

I think this shot would be fine in comments just for "identifying help".

In the comments the pics will get lost over time, it happened so many times already.

I think this shot would be fine in comments just for "identifying help". This is not a 3ds max cars database so it shouldn't be uploaded as the other view :p

As you have no other choice than a front shot via 3D program, this front shot is totally fine.

Burn Rubber, stop being retarded. This front shot or no front shot at all, do you understand this?

Only certain people.

@nudelpudding It should only be "unknown", not "unknown unknown", for future reference.

Shouldn't the surname "CS_Car" be deleted because it's only the car's file name? (CS probably stands for "cutscene")
