Im gonna go out on a limb and guess that this was gonna be called the Maibatsu Monstrosity

I heard something about that, and it's too bad it wasn't in the game. Would have been a fine addition as a regular SUV.

Yeah, that's a shame. :( I guess maybe the reason it was cut was because it was more of a proper offroading SUV, and there aren't really any really good roads for offroading in this game. But of course, it didn't reappear in V either, so I guess we'll never know what it was like do drive this thing.... :(

Mods...? :D

Problem: We don't know 100% of the styling since this is the only known footage of this car in this commercial, where it only shows the side and some of the back. Another problem: this car has no known name since there is absolutely no remnants of this car in the final.

The modder could always make it up. :p

I do know that a beta SUV that looks like this does appear in one of the TV shows in the game.

What if this is actually an early version of the Baller from the GTA V? Got pretty similar style to it.

I dont see too much similarities. Baller is based on a Range Rover while this one seems to be based on something from Japan

I see in it 1999 Lexus LX 470.

Racedriver43 wrote Maybe a Beta Tester can tell us, since it was in the Beta version of the game. This SUV looks like it would be great for climbing Mount Chilliad in GTA V. I'm sure that it might come to GTA Online, but later on, since many old GTA cars are returning every update. (Yay!)

To be honest the rear makes me think of some sort of Silverado with a bed cover, but this looks pretty Japanese to me.

Two problems with a beta tester telling us:

1. It's gonna be mighty hard to find one.
2. They're not gonna want to tell us anything about this. They want to keep this a secret, even though they didn't really do a good job. :p

TIME MACHINE!

That's the only way we'll ever get any more info about this car...

I persoanlly think it looks like a Lincoln Navigator, But that's just me.

On a GTA Wiki we can read something about this car: gta.wikia.com/wiki/Monstrosity

"A vehicle seen on GTA IV's in game TV is based on the Mitsubishi Montero. This may have been a beta Monstrosity that was cut."

So it's most likely a Maibatsu Monstrosity that has been cut from a final release of GTA IV.

AutoTracker US (200)

I like how on the European GTA 3 the Monstrosity is simply a Ford F-Series Super Duty monster truck with 'MONSTROSITY' on the side.

And it was an RC truck at that.

We have no proof that its the Monstrosity so dont post such things

The ad wasn't for the Monstrosity, the only thing is that Maibatsu is based on Mitsubishi and this model is based on a Mitsubishi. It may or may not have been planned as the Monstrosity.

I said "It's most likely a Monstrosity" not "It's definitely a Monstrosity" so please, don't be dumb.

well your sentence suggests that you believe those theories anyway, this car has no proven relation to the Monstrosity so we can't even say that it's "most likely it". And don't call me dumb please ;)

Read my comments over and over again till you get the point. And check the GTA wiki page listed above. I never claimed that this car is called Monstrosity but it can be possible.

I haven't said that you claim that it's Monstrosity :p anyway doesn't matter, currently we can say this has no relation to Maibatsu until a beta version of the game will show up somewhere

Pretty ironic to call anyone dumb when you link to GTAWiki yourself.
